This article was in the Guardian today and I thought it was interesting. I've got onions, carrots, a swede, a leek, bacon, home cured anchovies, a piece of cheddar and a bottle of cider. What have you got?

All sorts. Tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, milk, some left-over lamb from yesterday, ham, a jelly, jam, butter, sausage rolls from Aldi and some pear cider.

Oh, good grief. Too many items to bother listing. Let's just say that our fridge is an eclectic mix of East and West. We have mundane, universal stuff like eggs and milk (no vegans in this household) alongside the viscera of various animals. I believe we even have some chicken feet in there. When I first met my wife, I used to eat it all, but I have grown more selective over the past five years.
