What I Am Wearing Today

Recommended Posts

Last night I wore my 4.5" kneehigh boots, flare jeans, and a long sleeve shirt. I went to a party. And I was forced to play piano for them, as it always happens. One woman I knew a long time ago saw my boots, and said nice shoes, you can walk in them? I said: sure.

RonC, Don't worry my friend as your words have proved prophetic and you have emerged as "The Sage of Northern Illinois". My Mom is a native of Springfield so she gets the title of "The Sage of Southern Illinois". The dishonesty is just one more part of life's mosaic..it's the part where one needs a big eraser to wipe away and start fresh again. Stay in touch since we know you have the "touch" :)

Thanks HiH! Wish I had the intuition to really be a sage!

This is what I wore out tonight to do a couple of errands. I did get a couple of compliments on my look tonight, from the clerks at Kay's Jewelers and at the gas station filling up my car. I wore medium wash "Hue", jean style, leggings, black rayon camp shirt (tall size) and my Chadwicks, black patent, loafer pumps with a 4" tapered heel and black knee-hi hosiery. See the attached pics. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Bravo, bluejay! Cool looking outfit! You don't see much in the way of loafer-style pumps these days, and that's a shame since I find them to be stylish. Good for you, my friend!

I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman!

Great look! I like the jean style leggings and think they look good on you. Don't see why guys shouldn't wear these. Keep up the outings. Jim

Not really leggings, but a relaxed fit skinny jean.

Bluejay, I like your look, too. I have two pair of similar looking loafer pumps, but they're both uncomfortable. I should sell them on Ebay. I tried to replace them with loafer pumps from Nine West last December, but their size 12, which is what I usually wear, was too short on me, so I had to return them. I'll keep looking for nice loafer pumps like yours. Steve

Thanks, Steve and Shafted for your comments. Shafted, those are leggings according to Hue the manufacturer. They call them Jeans Style Leggings on the package. But really they are "Jeggings", but maybe some company has the name rights for "Jeggings". That's probably why Hue calls them Jeans Style Leggings. Happy Heeling, bluejay

Jeggings are actually leggings printed to look like jeans. Even the normal jean hardware like rivets are part of the print. I know what you mean though. I have a pair of American Eagle skinny jeans that actually have jegging print inside the waistband.

Debbi, have we come to the end of your closet?

Nope, just the end of Debbie.

First time weaing these to work. Had to have the heels repaired on these. I don't think they will be in the regular rotation, but you never know.

I have to ask. Did you wear those electric blue platforms pumps to work as well?

Hey Shafted, I did in fact wear them to work, however, I work in a quiet office with the SO and the other staff hardly ever come in as they all operate externally.

That's cool. Are you prepared for 'getting caught'?

I was pretty certain no one was going to come in today, so it was a safe gamble on my part really. Just a chance to be adventurous.

It almost seems a shame not to get caught looking that good!

My thoughts exactly.

Nice looking heels They look nice on you, with the skinny jeans.

I would wear a top that complimented the blue color of your heels, just my opinion.

Happy Heeling,

bluejay
