Platform is grey and I am not capable to remove the dark task footwear. I have the product shine 2000. Just good to keep the beauty of the black not the grey part. I used water also without effect. The problem is I used a new balance spray for the smell and sprayed on the side bottom of the heel platform. Note if you do not understand what I write just tell me because my english is at the medium level. Not completely bilingual. I would be nice if I can solve that. Curt Posted July 14, 2012 Share Posted July 14, 2012 I think you are talking about the discoloration on the platform or heel. Take them to the shoe cobbler and ask the person to clean the residue off of them. They did an amazing job on my disco shoes. By the way, my soles are rubber. Good luck to you!
