Hello everyone! New Member here. I'm Norma. Retired engineer, published author, amateur artist, pool player, and a girl in high heels. Fiscal conservative, social liberal. Pet lover. Favorite nail polish: "I Am Not Really A Waitress" by OPI. (OPI gives interesting names to their colors). My nails are long, and they are mine! Favorite author: Hiaasen. Favorite music: Classical, and strangely, banjo. Dislikes: Loud noises, mean people.

Hi Norma, Welcome. It's nice to add a new member. That's a very interesting description of yourself. I share may of those interests (though my sister could always beat me at pool). I hope you'll poke around on all the threads, find some that interest you and make a few comments. Chuck

Hello Norma, Welcome at hhplace. I hope you will enjoy it here, and will share your experiences with us (and considering your age of 78, there will probably be a lot of them). Extraordinary that you can still wear heels at this age. What is your secret? I wish for you that you can continue to enjoy them in good health for many more years.

I've often thought of having myself buried in my favorite pair of stilettos.

Nothing out of the ordinary about that thought, is there?

Being mentally comfortable in your own mind is the key to wearing heels in public.
