We have the restaurant selected for the dinner/social and the after meet club event has also been arranged. Once we have final confirmation on details we will post them. We would like to get a sense of who/how many members will be attending for the restaurant seating as well as for the club. Please advise "yes" or "maybe" int he attached poll. The venue at Columbia Restaurant has come together nicely and we have a private room set up for the meet. So far we have 28 people now indicating they will be coming, 15 of these are showing as 'definite". If you are considering joining the Tampa Meet on March 10 please add your name to the poll and also add a note here on the thread or PM me so we don't miss you. the private room at Columbia has limited space and we're also under contract on the number attending so it is important we have an accurate count on who is coming out. If you're in the Tampa/Central Florida area, come and heel with us! It will prove to be a blast! Great location in Tampa in Ybor City and the club after the Columbia Restaurant meet is awesome! Just got off the phone with 8 people who were maybe's and now 6 are definites. Looks like we will be around 20 definites with another 21 who are maybe that could bounce the number a bit higher. iloveboots Posted March 11, 2012 Author Share Posted March 11, 2012 Update from last nights Tampa Heel/Boot meet from ecchapin (Erik) the Meet leader...... The meet itself went very well. We had a total of 19 people (awesome and thank you everyone who attended). The room was incredible. All tile and very private. I had something unfortunate happen as I was heading off to the meet. I left a bit early (5:30p) so I could make sure everything was in place at Columbia. I encountered an accident which clogged up the causeway from Clearwater to Tampa. I was stuck in traffic for about and hour and 45 minutes, and didn't get in until 7:30pm. Tracie (Allthewayin) and I arrived at the same time. Kimmie (who was already there) was nice enough to let everyone know I would be late (Thank you Kimmie hugs). My camera was malfunctioning, so we didn't get a lot of pictures. Tracie did get some face pictures of the group on her camera phone, and we got a picture of a nice gentleman in the most awesome high heeled purple platform boots. He was a real trooper, had those on for most of the evening. About half of us decided to walk over to the Honey Pot/Fetish Circuit, while half drove over. Fetish Circuit was busy, and had a very good turn out. Lots of high heel booted people, and we even had a fair crowd from the other club from downstairs come up. It was a good time, met some new people, and I look forward to doing this again next year. The service at Columbia was impeccable, and the food/drinks were excellent. We toasted once to boots and high heels, as well as those who could not make it. All in all a fun night, minus the camera not working and the traffic.... I did explain to the group that you had to leave suddenly because of important things at home. Thank you so much for everything and bringing us all together. Yes I walked a pretty long distance in them (in which I am paying for it now) from the Columbia House Restaurant to the Honeypot (Fetish Circuit). Actually the walk was the huge highlight for me just the fact that I walked down that strip with my head high and proud of my boots in front of all of those people. From regular people to the thugged out guys riding in the cars, I didn't care. I think people were amazed and surprised that I was walking in boots with such height like those. It was great and I don't think I could have done anything like that in Jacksonville. I got one picture but I took it earlier at the hotel I wish I could have got it with every body but unfortunately it didn't happen. Any of you are in Ybor City the Honeypot is definitely the place to be not to mention the Columbia House Restaurant's food was amazing as well!!!! What ya see is what ya get no more or less!!
