Yeah, already we seem to be starting to see inroads being made there. I just got bumped up again to a +5 thumbs up. We have to remember that most of the bad reactions have been initial posts from people who haven't even read the thread. Just got bumped up to +6 thumbs up. My post is now the forth most thumbed up post. Wel here's an update on the sites voting. Should Men Wear High Heels? 716 - No - 62% 433 - Yes - 38% A 2% improvement. Foxyheels and I are making a difference here. If you are a guy wearing heels as a guy feel free to join in but post carefully. Also my post has been bumped up to +7 thumbs up. Gonna bump out a bad negative to forth place soon. One more thing to add: I haven't given thumbs up or down to any post as I feel this would skew the results. Some of them started as very negative posters. Another thing to look at here is the vote map for this thread. According to the map, North Carolina, New Hampshire and my home state of Maine are generally quite accepting. Granted one of the 9 Maine votes was mine. This is kind of a neat tool for detemining acceptance by state. Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Louisiana are slpit 50/50. All other states lean towards No. North Dakota remains unrepresented by votes. Globally the world leans towards No. Shafted, the boots that is! Despite the nature of the the thread I've made some friends there and have had enough influence to change a few peoples minds about men who wear high heels. That in and of itself is a good reason for us to participate in forums such as that. It must be done however with the utmost respect to fellow posters (even if they don't agree with you).
