Hi,

my name is Michelle, I'm from Germany (Hamburg). I hope I can find some nice people and information here.

I also hope that my english is good enough, so you can understand me :irked:

Greetings from Hamburg

Michelle sounds like a very un-German name, where are you from originally?

Why not? Not every german girl is named Frieda oder Gertrud  I'am born in Germany.

I was only asking as your name is typically English/French/Dutch, not German, thats all, hence it being very unusual for a native German to have non-german name, unless the parents are English/French/Dutch?

Just asking out of interest and wanting to get to know people better :irked:

Much the same way a Native Brit would never be called "Sven"

Welcome aboard, Michelle! Pull up a chair, have a nice beverage, sit and chat a while! It's very cozy here and many good friends to share stories and adventures with!

SQ.....still busting societal molds with a smile...and a 50-ton sledge!
