It also stops lots of new members coming on here just to spam the site with loads of porn that is not needed on this site. Just give it a week and about 10 or so posts and you will have full access. New friends like to know more about you, its give/take with friendships... Earning friendships is the same, you dont just "get friends", you earn them... Friendship is something you work on, you cant expect people to just know you and who you are just by walking into a group of people... No different to real life. Plus, as the others have said too, it goes a huge way towards preventing time wasters/spammers/leeches simply joining just to Post spam, Gain instant access to private shared galleries and forces people to get to know the place better and "ease into things" What do you think might happen if you approached a group of strangers who didnt know you, and started putting down photos/video in front of them, without so much as an introduction? They would likely look at you and think "Who the heck are you"??? lol Well, same thing here, internet or otherwise, its still real people who dont know you, but given a chance, will probably become good friends over time. This is a "I want to change the way this forum works" post. Well, I'm afraid you're out of luck, it isn't going to change because our rules are there for a very good reason and this is to stop people from posting links and photos without being a genuine member. If you really weren't interested in being part of our community then you just wouldn't bother coming back. Well, the bad news is we are not going to "delete" your account all we're going to do is ask you never to come back. That should have the same effect I think.
