Lucy:-) I have just enjoyed reading chapter 46 in your on-going saga of a life-time in high heels. I am now anticipating reading chapter 47. You have me "hooked". Excellent reading. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Lucy:-) I have just read your chapter 47. Excellent reading as usual. You sure are putting a lot of time and effort into producing the chapters of your story. You now have the equal of a full-size book or novel. I, for one, feel your efforts have been worth it. Let me urge you on now to writing chapter 48. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Hi Dawn! Thank you for the very nice message. Yes, I worked out for myself recently that my Story had already reached the size of the average paper-back novel! In fact, several members on Jenny's Forum suggested some time ago that when my Sotory is finished, I should get in published as a book on general sale. I'm seriously thinking about it, but as yet, I'm not sure what percentage of the public would be interested in such a specialised topic. What do you and Mickey think? Love, Lucy

Hi Lucy Loved your latest chapter. What better excuse (if you needed one) to get another pair of shoes to wear home in the train than to loose one of your pin and needle shoes overboard. Can you imagine what would have happened if you had been sailing the Atlantic and lost your shoe over board. "Captain, Captain, we've lost some one over board. We must turn around immediately" "Do we know who?" "Yes, it's some one named Pin." "Pin, I dont recall anyone named Pin." "Well actually it's one of Lucy's shoes" Jeff

Lucy:-) As usual, another great chapter on your ever expanding "work of art". Mickey has been impressed with the fact that you named one of your pair of shoes - Pin and Needle. She ask me if you named all of your pairs of shoes and I said---only those as Clarence had given them to you and the heels had such very thin tips. Thus the names were appropriate for them and described them perfectly. Both Mickey and myself are flattered that you would ask our opinion on whether you should try to get your story published into a book. Surely a good publisher would know if the book might be a good seller or not and could advise you being this might be your first book. Both Mickey and I say---"Go for it" and see what happens. This could very well lead your life into another direction. Cheers--- Dawn HH and Mickey68

Hi Dawn and Mickey! Well, that's certainly a thought. I am hoping withing the next year or two to retire from the business world, and it is always important for people to retain an interest and some motivation. I must say, I've enjoyed writing my Story chapters so much that would be a nice thought to be able to continue with some similar writing! "Pin and Needle" were the first shoes I named - they were very special to me. I did name one or two other special pairs later on. Of course, my Bettie Page pair became my "Betties"! Love, Lucy

Hi Lucy, That's a lovely touch, adding the photos of the Betty Page shoes to your brilliant stories and well done for adding the link on Jenny's forum, as that is where I read your stories (and reply) first. It was nice to be able to see pictures of the 6" heels, bringing your Southampton visit even more to life. Love, Paul.

Hi Smudgeur and Paul! Smudgeur: Yes, my glasses (and sometimes lack of!) will continue to crop up in my Story chapters from time to time. Thanks for following my chapters and for your enthusiasm! Paul: It was very kind of you to notice and to comment on my inclusion Bettie Page photographs. That one of Bettie rearing up majestically on those fantastic red mega-heels was one of her most popular and best-known shots, and was one of the pin-ups in Clarence's cabin. I shall always associate that picture with Clarence and my first visit to the "Queen Elizabeth". Whilst I sit here at home at my keyboard, with the sun streaming in through my window on this sunny Sunday morning and playing on my short towelling robe, my bare legs and my favourite 5 1/4" dangly mules, I'm about to plunge into Chapter 49 - an unforgettable high heel highspot in my life! Love, Lucy

Lucy:-) I have just read chapter 49 to Mickey68 and it appears that that was not a "Kodak" moment. Instant audience. As you said, this was a very interesting chapter to read. Mickey said that maybe you would be near a gift shop where you could find a pair of slippers or possibly you might be able to hail a cab for your ride home. MY reply---only Lucy knows. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Hi Dawn and Jeff! Dawn: - Slippers! SLIPPERS! In public? I'd die of shame! Better tell Mickey I didn't hear that! Jeff: - Well, looking back afterwards, that day was certainly a heel highlight for me! I hope you enjoy the next bit! Love, Lucy

Just read your chapter 50 in your on-going saga of your life in heels. Sorry about the slipper incident, but we were trying to figure out what possibilities that you might have in your predicament of trying to get home in your new "Betties", not thinking what embarrassment you might suffer being seen in a pair of slippers. And we came close with the cab ride which eventually turned into a ride to the tube station with another couple. I'll bet your "Tootsies" were glad that the girls met you with another pair of shoes to change into. What a scenario, but after a few twists of fate everything worked out well for you. Maybe now you might think of carrying a spare pair of heels with you in the future. Mickey68 and I are both looking to chapter 51 to see what happens next as that was her question to me again, and again my answer was, "Only Lucy Knows"! Cheers--- Dawn HH

Lucy:-) Both Mickey68 and I now know what happened in chapter 51. Talk about a cliff hanger! "What will Mother say"? Tune in to chapter 52 and see how Mother handles the purple ankle and high heel incident. Will the poor girl make it through the day with a bad ankle and no other shoes to change into? Only Lucy knows, and the both of us will be eagerly awaiting the next episode of "My life in high heels". Cheers--- Dawn HH

Hi Lucy After your 6 inch heel episode at the docks I was wondering “how are you going to top this.” Now I know, its Madeline’s turn to be the centre of attention. And guessing what might come later it must be Velma’s turn to get all the attention. Then there are all the girls at the office who surely you must convert over time to wearing high heels. As well as other friends you make along the way. I just hope I live long enough to read it all. :) Best wishes to you Lucy Jeff

Now come on Jeff! You know you shouldn't be making wild conjectures as to the direction my Story takes (or I should really say "took" as it's all already happened and I am simply relating it). And if you're predicting that Velma or my fellow office girls will be featured, don't forget that both of them have been already from time to time! Anyway, the main thing is, it's great to know that you are intrerested! Nice to hear from you again, and over on Jenny's Forum too! I'm pleased that you took my advice and took a peek at it. I think Jenny's Forum is going really well at present, with more ladies contributing than on these Megaforums. and making longer, more interesting postings. Love, Lucy

Lucy I have just realised that you have copied Serenity's story and Candice's story over to this forum. I dont know how I missed them. I am telling you because I have offered to copy Erica's story over if she didnt want to become a member of this site, but I guess you will be doing that too. Sorry didnt mean to tread on toes. I was hoping too that Erica had written her story in word and had saved it so that I could read it from the start. I dont know if she has or not yet. Best wishes Jeff

Hi Jeff! Yes, we both agree that the precious writings of Candice, Serenity and Erica should be duplicated here for preservation, like Spikesfan first started doing with mine (and which I'm now doing for myself). However, I've had a disappointing response from all three girls. I started posting Candice's and Serenity's just to "get the ball rolling", but I'm a very busy business person and barely have time to sustain my own contributions let alone continuing to copy-across theirs. At the time, I did suggest to them that they should continued the copying-across for themselves, but none of them appears to be interested. Or it might simply be that none of them wanted to cross the hurdle of giving an email address which they would have found to be a requirement if they started trying to enroll on Megaforums, and wished to preserve untraceable anonymity. I just don't know, but it would be a shame if these stories, especially Candice's, drop off the bottom of Jenny's board into anonymity! Love, Lucy

Hi again Jeff! Having written that last message to you, I've just relented re copying-across more of Candice's instalments. Our discussion prompted me to check Jenny's message-board, and Candice had submitted three more instalments, the earliest of which is just about to drop off the bottom as we speak. Therefore, I've copied-across those three on to here to save them. However, it would be very nice if Candice and the other two could see the value of duplicating their offerings over her for themselves! Love, Lucy

Lucy:-) I have just read and thoroughly enjoyed your chapter 52 in the on-going saga of Lucy and her heels. I particularly enjoyed your room-mate's dressing down of her Mother and Aunt which was evidently long overdue. I hope that she sticks to her "Guns" and continues dressing and enjoying her high heels. I had no idea it was your birthday, so a very Happy Belated Birthday to you and many more we hope. Mickey68 is only 2 years older than you being born on March 26 in 1942. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Way to go Madeline Lucy you continue to amaze me with the detail you put in your story after all these years. It surely must be that you kept detailed diarys of your day to day life. So thank heavens for the person who invented diarys. If it isnt that then it has to be your memory. What can I say except that I wish my memory was as good. Congratulations and Happy birthday for your sixtieth birthday. I hope you had a wow of a day. Oh and if you feel like toasting me for this birthday wish then go a head and have another glass or three. Best wishes to you Lucy, you certainly bring joy to the board. Jeff

Lucy:-) I have just read your chapter 53 in your on-going saga. As usual, wonderful reading and very interesting. Thank you for your concern for Mickey's health. She is progressing slowly and the staples were removed the other day. She had 21 staples to contend with. It's a slow process and she has her good days and her not so good days, but seems to be getting stronger slowly after her major surgery. Cheers--- Dawn HH

Hi Lucy Your chapter 53 was a bit shorter than usual but still enthralling as usual. But I wonder was it short because of time constraints or are we headed into some thing special, and short adds to the build up????? Best wishes Jeff

Hi Dawn! Thanks for your very nice reply. I'm delighted that Mickey is gradually getting stronger, but I think she's bound to haver the odd bad day after such a major operation. Glad you like my latest chapter, and best wishes to you both! Lovy, Lucy. Hi Jeff! I see you haven't changed - still wanting more at the end of each chapter. Well, I'll do by best, that's all I can say! Thanks for the message. Love, Lucy

Hello folks, Yes, "It's a fair cop!" as we say it the UK - This is Heelfan confessing that I write the Lucy stories under her nom-de-plume. Hundreds of man-hours, in fact! Having chatted about this to Firefox from the start, and to Tom and a few others about it since, I make sure that Lucy posts do not appear on the "For the Gals" section (which would be unscrupulous), but only on the Jenny's Forum and areas such as the Stories section where both fact AND FICTION are encouraged. Interestingly, all of the Lucy episodes are fact rather than fiction! Having from the age of about eleven been a fanatically keen observer and rememberer of all the heel-wearing events of my classroom friends, teachers, student, girlfriends and my ever-loving wife, the creation of Lucy seemed to be the ideal way of amalgamating all these real events, places and happenings into the life of one heel-wearing girl to be told in the first person. It all really happened in the real places mentioned! Now, I always new the danger that I'd get rumbled like this one day, and secondly that the "Lucy followers" would be disappointed when the bubble burst. I must say "Sorry" to those people. However, what of the future? Having now read my honest confession, do you all want the Lucy Stories to be curtailed forthwith (Lucy had reached May 1964), or would you like them to continue regardless, but with me, Heelfan shown as the author? Fondly yours, Heelfan (nom-de-plume Lucy)

Onwards and upwards!

Well, Thankyou to two of you who've already responded. It's a bit mixed to date: Racoon PMd me and said "I know fantasy is allowed on this board and I appreciate that". Dawn posting (referred to by him above) said it was a "Lousy deal", so my sincere apologies again to Dawn. Racoon is keen for me to carry on with the Lucy Stories, but no mention one way or the other from Dawn so maybe I should take that as a "No". If anyone else does or doesn't wish me to continue the Lucy Stories, I'd appreciate their comments. Fondly yours, Heelfan

Heres another one from the "Just friends" thread

Hello D!

I'll enjoy meeting you for that joint skyscaper heel walk a little later on, but my wife and I are moving house before Christmas and I have a mass of preparations to do in the next few weeks. The only time-off that I can manage soon is the London Heel-Meet on 7th November (which I'm organising) and which I hope you can attend!

Looking further ahead, I'll have more time for heely meets and challenging heel heights"

Cheerfully yours, Heelfan

Heelfan I would like to know who Tom is. You see I was hoodwinked by some girl named Cinthy who wrote on this forum. It turned out that Cinthy was a guy. He was found out by his supposed wife Kity Fantastico. She wrote that she had found him out previously when he posted pictures of her posing as Phuong. Does any one remember her? Well I wrote to Phuong too until she found a new boy friend named Tom. So now I am wondering if this Tom is the same Tom you speak of, that you have conspired together to fool all of us or if you have conspired separately with the same idea.
