Why don't you contact the Online Seller where you saw them? They are more likely to know than we are. My other suggestion would be to try these people, who carry old 'Little Shoe Box' designs:

Shoecraft (Melbourne, Australia):

  • 4 weeks later...

I emailed the store. They tried a bait and switch tactic on me. They're sold out of all LSB Ballet shoes, I was told in an email, but they still show them on thier site. Was told but we have these...bla bla bla.... and tried to tell sell me the Pleaser ballet boots I sell for over 7x wholesale price. Not good.

devious /pleaser is still quite a nice quality (though of course one does not need to get it overpriced as still quite a lot shops offer them) - I think these new cheap balletboots worser- sometimes sold to phantasy prices as well- but partly of an awful quality. a girl I know got balletheels looking like sharks because the heel is kind of backwards and getting worser while walking. I think they just believe nobody would ever walk them but of course a lot of people would and can- but making experience like that might spoil the interest forever.

If they are using 'LSB' illustrations to advertise their boots, but are actually selling 'Pleaser', then it is a clear case of misrepresentation.....which is illegal...in any country. They are playing on the assumption that most folks don't know that 'LSB' went out of business over 3 years ago. However, a large number of Ballet Boot purchasers will know of course...Ballet Heels are a 'niche' market and many purchasers will already 'know their onions' so to speak..

It's shady dealing....and best avoided.

Actually definitely a lure and then offer another solution, as they also list the pleaser ones as a different item. They know what game they're playing. What shocked me was that their requested "deposit" for these boots is actually more than many stores retail the boots for. There's doing business and then there's just greed and bad business. The suggested retail for these is about 280-320 so what they charge is ludicrous. Hope nobody really took that sucker deal they offer since just for giggles I googled what the majority is asking and they're all at a more realistic amount as suggested by the maker of these boots.

here's a quote: Thank you for your message. We have sold out of Y4 ballet lace up thigh boots unfortunately the Little Shoe Box in London who manufactured them ceased trading approx 5 years ago and we have sold our

I was actually looking at the ballet heels Punitive shoes makes as a replacement for the LSB Ballets. They're much sturdier and do come in a few colors. But I'm taking a chance and having a few pairs of the pleaser style ballet heel done in custom leather boots, so I guess I will post more info when I get those and test them out.

You are kidding me...??!! $890.00 is daylight robbery for Pleaser Ballet Boots! You can order them MUCH cheaper from places like 'Snaz75' or 'HowCool'........or you could order direct as a retailer from 'Pleaser Shoes' in the US.

You can also look here for boots:

http://www.sky-scrapers.com/

They don't do Ballet Heels but you may find others you might like to include in your shop.

ANND....these people DO stock the Y4 Ballet Boot from 'LSB'...(or are these the people you have contacted already?????):

http://www.shoecraft.com.au/

Go to 'boots' and scroll down about halfway......

Shoecraft is the place I contacted and got that email. And no, she said in a second email, they don't have any style of ballet heel anymore, but still taking orders for them claiming they have many styles of them in all 3 LSB ballet products. My guess is they pull the "but we have pleaser for 800+ to anyone who tries to order them. I'm tempted to buy a pair of ballets so I can have the sole and heels duplicated just so I can produce a line of my own with them. The LSB Heels really were the best ones ever produced for ballet boots. (would have to be NOT my purple leather ones cause they are awesome!)
