ironmask73
The Alexander McQueen collection for Spring 2010 had some real eye candy. Especially since he's redone his shoes into something fantastic. The look of ballet boots without killing the toes! Check out the link below. The shoes themselves are highlighted in the last few pictures. http://projectrungay.blogspot.com/2009/10/alexander-mcqueen-spring-2010.html
Richy
Probably better photos, but this thread has a few comments regarding the McQueen collection http://www.hhplace.org/everybody/14851-most_ridiculous_shoes_ever_appear_catwalk.html
onyourtoes
They look like something Don Martin would draw.
5150PLB1
They look like something Don Martin would draw. Quite right. You would almost expect to see Captain Klutz escorting some of the models down the runway.
Rockpup
Reminds me of the attached boots for the suits used in "Bubblegum Crisis" http://daedalnexus.net/bubblegum/crisis/images/bgcpstxt.jpg (formerly known as "JimC")
DR Who 3
Yes very strange indeed. I like the colors though. It is too bad they didn't use real ballet boots and fshion them in the bright colors. Those shoes are kind of bulky looking on the end of those slender legs. Food for thought though no? Dr Who3
roniheels
Too extreme for me, but I'm sure someone would love to have a pair or two. To each their own, I always say.
thighhighguy
Very Extreme and should prove to be a hit, not the sort of thing i would try though.
Waisted_Giraffe
Very Extreme and should prove to be a hit, not the sort of thing i would try though. Not really that extreme; if you look close enough in some of the close up side views, you can see the profile of a pretty standard high heel under a covering. don't forget the scale of these things, they are rather big in order to cover up the high heel and achieve a ballet look. Don't get me wrong I like them but don't think we'll see them on the high street any time soon. R
jwhite44
Wonder almost if they aren't intentionally grotesque, just to create some buzz about his show.
