PatentHeel Posted October 29, 2008 Share Posted October 29, 2008 I have had no luck in hunting down a pair of patent strappy sandals that I really want and as time goes by the chances of finding a pair in my size is dwindling. I've thought about having a go and making a pair myself but wondered if there are any specialised companies that could make a pair of heels to a customers requirements? I basically want the same heel but in black patent leather in a size UK 8. You can see how they wrap around the foot on the original picture: http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh77/PatentHeel/sand.jpg They have a detachable ankle strap which has a silver buckle on it. The other two straps on the heel also have the same silver buckle. I hope this is sufficient enough information. I will try and hunt down the other pictures I have. Do you think you can make them? But they can be build up by leather/leatherette (PU) the old fashion way by handcraft. The straps are no problem, They are very sexy thow....:-) I will print out the pic and bring it to the shop and ask them how close to the picture they can make them.. I have been to the manufacture this morning and they say they can make the shoes very close to the look on your pics. The heel is to be of plastic but shaped round and 5" tall colored to gold with man made material. Metal heels same shape is not available... The heel has a steel pin going straight throug the heel from end to end for extra strenght. Outer sole can be made of black rubber as same shape, and inlay of silver manmade material inside the sole.
