good advantages.. i can think of a few more, but not appropriate for here (get my drift) more artistic in photogpraphy.. my opinion ease to remove when out later in the day and you don't want them anymore. that is the best i can do.

my lady has the same problems finding knee high boots that fit. i'll ask her what brand she found that work for her. all the other ones are impossible for her to put on over her calf. RPM

Adeana...good call! i like the idea!

good luck getting a mentally healthy socially adjusted 10 year old into 6 inchers!!!! good luck!!!!!!!! if grown folks have a hard time getting their partner to do 4 inchers, what makes you think an active 10 year old pre-teen to listen to you let alone wear the shoes you want? As soon as they realize the other kids aren't doing it, they'll resist you.. plus you risk emotiallly scarring your child if they're not into the heeling thing. why? she won't say no, you're her parent, she'll internalize it and rebel. careful with that idea buddy!! i've read most of this thread and forumed my opinion... loosely that is. I don't think id should be made the rule for similar reasons to BB. the precious few women we have will soon be gone... targets of guys who can't get a hold of themselves!!! Lots of times i've been tempted (and even yielded to it) to post in the gals forum. once id's are made of gender, temptatoin will rise (not necessarily followed through anymore than now) but to me, if i'm a 'nice' guy and i'm even more tempted.. what of the 'weirdos' BB is talking about who already can't help themselves. I don't often PM female posters because I don't want to be lumped into the weirdo group either. i just like the pics and stories women post.. so that is what i read. ok, i digressed a lot here. back on topic... no manditory ID of gender should be the case, nor blocking access to any forum based on gender either (but fellas, continue to ease up on the gals forum like we've been doing) now that i'm on track, time to end......... this is news to me. i've not heard this trend before. if anything, i thought things were being more female oriented and less towards what guys want their women to wear. i've not heard my lady complain much, other than trying to find high heels in sizes other than 7. interesting. the only exception to what i just said is Vickies... they are doing things with their lingerie that i don't get yet. Hey, I've done some similar 'artsy' type pics with my girlfriend's shoes in the past. i've not posted them though. It was done before I started getting good with my camera. Jen, I guess you know what my lady feels like when I take out the camera. she just sighs and rolls her eyes, but otherwise is a great sport and poses oh so well!!! has he done any special artistic layouts with you and do you care to post any here? Hi to all!
I'm new here (for posting, not for lurking
) and I need some advices about my new 7 inch heels. They are a pair of Oxford from The Highest Heel, in patent leather, bought off from Ebay for only 30 euros (about 35 USD).I know that aren't kitten heels, but I want to know if someday in the future I will be able to walk decently in them.
Might I add that the size is 10M US, and I wear a 39-40EUR. The seller listed them as 41EUR. Is the right size (one size bigger for this type of shoes I've read on many sites)? Or maybe is this the problem?
Thanks
Claudia
Welcome Claudia,
Enjoy your time here and I look forward to your postings. As far as heeling at extremes is concerned, the general rule of thumg is that every one responds differently to such extremes. some prefer a size bigger, others a half size bigger, and a few rather keep their size. it all depends on the cut and the way your foot goes with that.
so, try them. if they feel ok, then you're in the ball park. you can in time get used to them and be able to stand with your legs straight. if you think you're going to go all day out and about in 7 inchers, even for a US7, let me wake you up right now!! but you can do well in them Ellen-Jay is one who has much smaller feet than you and she's learned how to walk in them around her place.
I'll let the others answer.... i've put in my 0.02 cents in!

way too bold for me... but glad you've got a comfy environment to do so! especially considering how conservative they are RPM

Heelfan, You're one of those who's comments and stories have always interested me. Today however, you've taken me a bit by surprise. I went back to find the pic of Nov 26. I dont recall a picture of exposed breast down to thighs. If it was there and removed, then I can't say. But you puzzle me. I've seen most of Ellen-Jay's posted pics on regular basis. She is a 'spunky' lady for lack of better words. But the type of picture you speak of.... doesn't match up to what I've seen here before. I also think this is a great time for the moderators to speak on this, to avoid a flaming war. I've seen other pics posted (names will not be named.. not worth it) but they've gone beyond the hhplace standard and posted more skin and more exposure. I bet if it wasn't in taste of this forum, the moderators are on top of it. I respect your displeasure at the style of pictures Ellen-Jay is developing. That comes clear in your comment. I do am of the opinion that your statement was phrased in a way to provoke more a response (the reference to Nov 26........) than just plainly expressing your displeasure. that isn't really cool. sounds more like a personal attack... that is beneath you if you ask me. E-J. I hope you're not sorely offended. Please keep up the posing and posting. Don't be so put off that you won't post and keep us in limbo for a while. That does not strike me as your style. You've posted some excellent and wonderous pictures and have a long list of fans awaiting more from you when the business of the holidays pass!!! I for one am waiting. I suspect, but can't speak for Heelfan, that he does appreciate some of your pictures (but i much much rather he say that instead). i hope with Sydnee's comment, this will avert an all out flaming war. To me, this thread is more about pic of Ellen-Jay. I respect the comments all who shared, but I'd hate to see this become a war. (seriously) So, with that said. Merry Christmas to all here!!! And Ellen-Jay, you know the pics I like from you, so post away!!!! RPM

thanks all for the compliments. I'm working on a few more new pics for you all. Gina, I was only about to get from the model that the shoes were Steve Madden and hers are a size 10US. She got them I think at a Bakers Shop. I'm not sure of the exact website address. I also heard her sister mention that they are available at most Steve Madden stores and a few Aldo stores. The websites should hold them too. I enjoyed that shoot, lovely shoes indeed. She said when the weather gets better she'll do one more shoot for me in those shoes. we'll see. it was tough enough getting these pics online (she was very reluctant) RPM

thank you all. I feel so honourd to have Gina comment on my pics. I mean, the goddess on this forum thinks my pictures are nice... well the shoes anyway... i'm blushing!!!! You guy's compliments keep me shooting pics! RPM

This is an interesting thread to read. (and my 50 cents on it) I will try to keep my emotions out of this and stick to some simple facts. Young boys are discouraged from lifting heavy weights because their bones aren't formed and the stress can damage their growth in more ways than the urban legends suggest. The same goes with the feet. Doctors advice you be very careful in choosing shoes for either genders because ill fitting shoes do a ton of damage to feet and the results only show up later in life. Good manufacture take greater care in designing kids shoes because they have regulations to follow (sadly it doesn't apply to all manufactures) As for making heels in smaller size.. due to a lot of lobbying from folks in smaller feet size as adults, heels and other fashions are making it in smaller and smaller sizes. I remember when finding a 5 inch heel in a size 6 was hard to find. now they make it in size 4.5 (usually a kid size, but i've got adult friends with size 4.5 feet and they're so please they can finally find heels to raise their heights) so, depending on parenting styles will determine how you help your child realize that they should wait until their body is done growing to go for the more 'extreme' of heel heights. But remember, the age at which the foot is done growing varies from person to person and hence the age at which they can support heels varies. (rushing it will only hurt in the long run) On the emotional side of the spectrum... I don't want to subject any child to the added pressures of fending of pervs and hungry men. A big part of me says protect the growing child. I have been viewed as a mentor figure for two growing girls in my years. The hardest part was seeing them grow into women and helping them realize they don't have to grow up so fast. it's really hard... plus it tugs at my heart big time (whoever says guys dont' get emotional hasn't met one who cares about his daughter, wife, girlfriend, sister, or mentee) plasmaboy, I wish you luck with this. your trick of hiding the boots will only work now because she's so young, try that when she's a teen and the results will be much much much more different! When they're teens, its more a luck thing that being their friend. Setting limits and dealing with the fall out until they're old enough to say thank you is a tough act of love! Keep us posted. The short of my long speech, postpone the heeling as long as possible, even though you're fighting a loosing battle agains pop culture (disney channel included). Just help her realize there is a time and place for heels and that if she respects that, you'll be more understanding of her wishes to wear them.. you never know, she might take your advice! RPM

Hey E-J, Only three choices comes to mind for the red pumps. 1- the white stockings you used before 2- the tan fishnets 3-the black hose you wore a whiles back with these. I think that is the order of preference, but 1 and 2 run so close, it's a tie with 3 being a super close second!

I see a few have commented on the obvious, Ellen-Jay has the perfect legs for those shoes. Without her legs and feet, I don't think these shoes would look that nice. I really enjoyed seeing these pictures. I could just take a seat at your feet and admire all day, but that would get in the way of you getting on with your life. so, i'd have to tag along, but then, i'd look like a stalker, then i'd feel the need to touch and massage, but you'd see me as a freak, so, in stead, i'm going to put them on my desktop to look at and pretend I'm there. That way, I'm happy, and you're happy. In all seriousness, the day I'm in the UK, i'm going to ask you the priviledge of meeting you. That way I can say in person, I'm your number one fan and I'm glad you shared so many great pictures with us. Of course, I'd not stay on top of you, public setting, your hubby around. that way, i"m a fan showing love and all is well.
Truly, a monumental day if I can have it. I'll hold the camera at bay.
You get my drift, I just enjoy your pics and I do get excited about it. So, to the Empress.
You make Ellie proud!
