lost my long post but it was along the lines of what Jim said.. get really comfy and used to your BB heels before driving in them. practice driving away from traffic.....so no surprises on the road. i'd hate for a situation calling for a panic stop, panic lane change, followed by rapid acceration to avoid a collision and this is the time you loose track of where your BBheeled feet are!! better safe while enjoying your heeling than sorry!!! that is the short version of my lost post. our famous LaurieHeels is a prime example of someone who can do 6 inch for long stretches of time and still be barefooted. the best way to be able to be barefoot is to be barefoot. don't wear 6 inch all your waking hours with no time barefoot. both can be done. i've got an aunt who is just as comfy in her flats as she's in her mega heels... and we're talking all day in either mode!!! (if you don't use it, you loose it)... so don't just wear 6 inch all the time... spend time in your flats.. that way you can do both. RPM

great stories!

4 days (last month when I flew to the UK and had my suitcase go missing from the flight). Was stuck in my damn 5 inch heels (with high arch!!!) for four days. Still in pain!!!!!

got another shot to show off.

here is the story. she thinks she's not that hot. i think she's drop dead gorgeous. my lady even says so. but being we're about a decade apart in age, my lady doesn't feel that she's a 'thread' in my friendship pool. we met not too long ago and became fast close friends.

when she heard i take pics of heels and post them online, she got curious. she wanted to konw if her feet would generate the same response from me that she got from women complimenting her and being jealous of her.

well... long story short, the response was overwhelming. she took interest. now she calls her online admires her fan club. so, whenever I see her, which isn't often, i remember to take my camera. she loves when I forward her the responses that folks give.

so, here is the latest pic i took of her. enjoy!

can't help you on the heeling part. but i know that for me, genetically, i will have my ankles and feet prone to swelling in the heat. the more uncomfortable I am in the heat, the more I know my feel and ankles will swell by days end! it's something I know is genetic, cause daddy dearest pasted it on to all his kids (all boys). mom doens't have that issue. so, yes age is a factor, genes is another factor, and also i've been told.. wearing sneakers.. as comfy as they are... don't often cause our bodies to work as hard to get the blood flow back up. so if sitting in sneakers, expect a bit more swelling to take place than say in regular dress shoes. you mentioned you walked about, so, that should have helped, but with age... may not be as effective (even though I'm sure you do not look your age) only suggestion, get those shoes on before the swelling comes to you.. if you can! hoverfly is right. it takes a long time to achieve and also a while to reverse, but is reversable. My aunt has been in heels longer than I've been a live. she's been doing her 5 inch for nearly 30 years and now is going more for 4 inchers now that she's later in life. she told me that she always made a point of walking barefoot at some point in her day to maintain the ability to wear flats. for her, the ability to do both was more important than being permanently in one setting. i think, if i'm not mistaken, she's been heeling in the 4 to 5 inch range for nearly 40 years. at one point, 6 inchers was common every day practice for her. but she always spent time flatfooting so that she never got stuck in her heels. 24/7 heels, thanks for taking the time to answer that lenghty survey. agreed Jimc It's something I'm glad i've learned to do. I slip but not to the point of loss control. that sucks. but hey... some folks are 'weak' and don't want to learn control. RPM

one other thing, i looked at one of the pics and the image wasn't like the first time I saw it (resized a bit differently this time) <won't mention where I first saw the pic either.. but it's the author's pic if anyone asks>

what i'm driving at, in the better quality pic I saw, I thought she was Italian or just was an amazing Brunnette!. I see why folks think she has Asian characteristics...

I think it's a fab photo... not too worried about how well she walks in the heels... hardly a handful can do that walk well to begin with. I'm more impressed that she is ok with sharing private pics with us and i'm happy about that and congrats to you!! you're the lucky guy who gets to see her in such high heels to begin with!!!

don't worry too much what folks think she looks like. she's hot... that is a fact... she's awesome in those heels.. that is a fact.... and you get the last laugh... and that also is a fact!

Chris, this is a hard one. but can be done. sadly, don't know what to say that would make it easier, but sometimes the truth is much easier and filled with less surprises. If you hide it, it may come across as something you're ashamed of and think is bad and that you don't value your relationship with her highly enough to tell her. it's a weird mix.. i think. so, just calmly and normally bring it to her attention... like one person said.. just tell her not to be alarmed if she runs into shoes she knows aren't hers and that fit you. you're into heels but not in a weird way. then, go on her reactions. if you're as close as you say, she'll sort out her feelings about it. you know her better than us, so you'll know how she'll take it better than a 50/50 guess. good luck. it is after all your house too! Shafted, wanna hear something funny? on my lady, shoe play is not something I really look for. i like it when she just keeps her heels on... maybe a little rocking, but not really. not sure why either.. however, on other women, bring on the shoe play. some personalities, i like to see them dip, others dangle, others combo. it deepends on the person and how they carry themselves. to each his/her own!
