Thanks for the tips Jim. I will let you all know how I am getting on with walking in the ballet boots I hope you can get the ballet boots re-tipped. Let us know how you get on. btw, does anyone know of any good places in NYC and Washington DC to get ballet boots for as I am planning on visiting there soon and I would like to get a second set of boots CM.

Once I manage to walk properly in my boots I am planning on going out to a few clubs in my boots -- just to see what people will do & say ) CM

They do lock at one end but my boots are velcroed at the other end, but a small dob of super glue solves that problem

i have recently purchased some Devious 1025 lockables from www.bananshoes.com and only after a few days of wearing them I am able to take my first few tenetative steps

After a few weeks I am now able to take a few steps unaided I bought the devious boot because they would support my ankles when I was walking. I ordered my trainer size, and they fitted like a glove.
