  1. I wear all types of "women's" shoes too. In fact the only pairs of "men's" shoes that I have left are work boots and a couple pairs of dress shoes that I hardly wear any more. I'm wearing my platform flip flops as I type this which should hardly be special except that is October 6 in NW Pennsylvania and in the 80's. More like July weather!

  2. Your method is far more extreme than most of us guys could do, especially considering that you were at a VFW club. In my area the VFW wouldn't be the place to go to find many free thinkers if you know what I mean. Regardless, it sounds like you were successful in meeting ladies. Good for you. You didn't mention if there were possibilities of future dates with any of them.

  3. My slides from Remix arrived. The are incredible, even better than I imagined. The look hot AND they are really comfortable. I wear 10 fem and they fit well in the width and may be a half size longer in length. Still they are what I've been waiting for! They are just like the pic above from Metalspikes except they are in red leather.

  4. Thanks, Metalspikes for the tip on the slides by Polly. I've been looking for that style for years. I ordered a red pair from Remix and I'll let everyone know what they are like. They are expensive, $148, but what the hell, I've waited a long time!!!!

  5. Now that the weather here in NW Pennsylvania is warm it is time for the sandals! I wear some sort of wedge sandal or platform thong whenever I can. This summer may be a downer though because I broke a toe over the weekend. I'm not sure that I will be able to wear all the styles that I usually do. Guaranteed I'll wear whatever I can though!

  6. I have lots of plats in my collection and several similar to the pic posted by onyourtoes. In fact I still have a pair like them from when they first came out in the '70s. They weren't real Kork-Ease but were a good quality knock-off. I remember the original Kork-Ease advertised in "Rolling Stone" for $25 a pair in 1973. They go for $175 today at Zappos. Helluva difference 35 years makes!!
