    Basically, it is a matter of physics and/or geometry..... the higher the heel goes, the 'shorter' the shoe gets, from heel-tip to toe-tip, but 'sexiness' isn't about a specific 'heel-height' :

    it is about an 'attitude' !

    I agree!! I have seen some women make a pair of 3 inch heels look sexier than a pair of 5 inchers. It was all in the way they moved and the way they held themselves.

    @hjt101 - what about black patent pumps since you liked them so much.

    Just tossing around idea to see if my original one sticks. My girlfriend loves sandals and I love seeing her beautiful feet in them, so it might be a sandal (patent of course). I am not sure how the colouring will show patent.

    I have been thinking of getting it for a while, but have been waiting about 6 months, just to be sure it is what I want. Now I am just working out the details.

    I have been thinking of getting a tattoo of a nice high heel, on my lower abdomen. It would be about 2-3 inches in size. Still tossing around ideas of what to get. My personal preference in shoes is a black patent pump, but am in a debate about different types of shoes. Should it be a sandal? a pump? a boot? Also, how much leg should be visible in the artwork. What do you think? Do you have one already?

    Hello.

    Could any one give me some advice on wheather black patent high heels are to much for the office as ive seen a lovely pair of 4.5" black patent court shoes but not sure wheather there suitable for the office.

    It depends on the outfit. If you are wearing an lbd with patent pumps, it is kinda dressy for the office, but with a pair of jeans, I think it would work.

    But in my mind, patent pumps go with anything.

    The court/pumps finish the look. I don't know if it would work as well with sandals.

    i don't want look to amateurish in heels out doors

    If you have a long hallway at home, put a mirror at one end and watch yourself walk. If not, use a video camera, or even a still camera with a self timer to see your stride. You can find some good (and bad) examples on YouTube.com. Or even go to your local shopping mall and watch heelers there.

    Smooth strides, let your hips go, let your knee strighten part way thru your stride. Your leg should be almost straight when your foot touches the ground.

    One of the worst things is to have a bad gait in heels, it can ruin the whole look.
