Hallo,
I hope there is a place where I can stay during this meeting in Cardiff. Depending where I still can change my travelpath. My idea was flying to Bristol or London on friday with a train to Cardiff on saterday. Get another sleep and back to Holland on sunday.
When there are members who know cheep hotels or bed+breakfast ect please let my know. Even other place where to go to find a bed and stay is welcome a3hmskrk@hetnet.nl but still the travel can be made would be nice. A small present is at leasd what I can do in return and talking about my high heel shoes and boots.
Enjoy your heels
A3
Hi,
Before you make to many plans I would wait and see how many members confirm that they will be attending, it is a long way for you to travel to be in cardiff on your own.
I am not too sure if I can go, I will have to wait until I get back to work to find out what I am doing that weekend.
Please reply here if you are going to attend this meet so that A3 can make some travel arrangements.
Nigel.

What has happened to HHplace? it's gone from a place where everything (heel related) was talked about and some not - to a place where "does these boots/strappy sandals/ [insert favourite style of footwear] look in public -
that is why I don't post here often anymore...
Not to mention, where are the [REAL] women?
later,
TXT-1
Well, my wife (a real woman) has a problem with shoes, it was great to get a few posts of support, but not many, in fact as a couple who have great interest in shoes I was quite taken back by the lack of interest in the topic posted here.
If we are to support each other, lets not go for the easy reply, you know, "yeh, Cool shoes", lets try to look at the more interesting side of heels and why we all joined this forum.
My wife has been struggling with one thing and another for the last year or 18 months. We went to the doctor to see what he thought, he suggested we get an allergy test done.
Well........ we are half way through the test and we have found a couple of reactions. If you dont know how a test is done then let me explain, there are about 50 different patches stuck on the back and left for a few days.

Okay,
After 2 days.
To the top, just under the number 20 you can see a red patch, where she has reacted to something, there are a few other but lets not worry about them.
On seeing this the Doctor asked if she had any problems with her feet! Why yes, sometimes she replied, ahhh, said the doctor, this is a reaction to a glue that is found in shoes!

And Yes, I have looked at the other forums and not seen anything worth replying to other than, "nice shoes".
somebody once said to me that "the grass looks better on the other side, but it needs more mowing".
lets look after this site and our members and make the most of it.
best wishes to you all.
Oh, PM to TXT-1, My wife managed to find a copy of Number of the beast on ebay and got it for me for Xmas, fantastic. have not heard it since it was nicked off of me 10 years ago, what a woman

Hi all
Got a virus warning when the film started.
Virus called: BackDoor-CRK
My anti virus program stopped it.
Thats the advantage if not using microsoft products

Did not see it, and it wont do anything to my PC or Mac

Local Barratts closed a while ago.... booo!
Replaced by some cheapo outfit selling junk.
yeh,
I noticed that, I found a nice pair of cowboy boots in there for £15 only to find the same pair in barratts for £20, just a different label.
some of their other stuff is sure to be the same as well.
have another look in there again before you write them off,
(Shy guys will love the new store as it is less open plan than Barratts.)

The best bit is that they say this,
The built-up improves posture and gives a feeling of positive well-being. Our shoes are a tonic for men, so much so that they are often worn by men of over average height. This is because they encourage you to stand with your shoulders square and you head up (resulting in even more height).
Our product is the result of intensive design study. We are proud to make people taller without anyone else knowing the secret. Bugarri Shoes improve posture, make people stand straighter (giving them even more height), make people feel better and more importantly, more confident. Bugarri Shoes even make people look thinner!
so wearing heels is good for you!

Might not be too bad flying into Cardiff Airport.
it is the closest airport but it is miles fom Cardiff, you would have to check out the links to the city as well.

Okay, Well out of my depth here, going to leave this to Xa as he knows more 'bout this than me. Nigel.

Hi Scotty, Unless anybody remembers their "radio and telly" days better than me I think he will be lucky to get any stations from the other side of the planet. The British forces will have their station on over there and I would imagine that the US has one too. Unless you know that he will be able to get batteries, It might be worth looking into a solar or wind up radio for less hassle. It is nice thought though, perhaps I will have a surf around if I get time and see if it will work. Best of luck with your quest. nigel

Hi, Over here in Blighty our bigest station is well in the mood. The BBC celebrates most religious holidays and therefore does not have an issue with Christmas. In a world where most folk think us men wearing heels is odd, I am almost ashamed to listen to Wogan in the morning on BBC radio 2. I have Phil Spectors Christmas gift playing in the Kitchen as I type this. I must say I have not heard any Gary Glitter this year, I wonder why? Happy Christmas, after all, thats what it is. Nigel

sounds good to me. lets leave it a little while to avoid the january sales at their peak!

Hi Mac, well you are in the right place, tell us a bit about your heel intrest. Nigel

Ah! Heelfan you ol' dog you, been wondering where you were. Yes, I think the Peachy meet will be over subscribed, dont worry. Hope you are well, see the builders are still in at your place! should not be too long now. As for the SE Wales meet, it might be worth thinking what folk want from this and if you think Newport is up for this kind of invation. some of the shy folk might not be up for a strut around town in heels and some of the other members might be worried about a more private meet. I guess we will have to see what the other members want to get out of it. Nigel

Hi, yes, we would be interested. look forward to seeing more replies to this. Nigel

Hi and welcome along, funny that sometimes when you are wearing your heels you now try to show more of them, I was xmas shopping myself yesterday and whilst waiting outside the shop with my little girl in her pushchair, I played a game with her. I made clip clop noises with anna everytime a pair of noisey heels walked by. There was only one chap making that noise and he must have had some sort of metal heel or toe protector in his shoes (flatties before you ask). My point is that you could try some more daring heels if you want to get noticed, but dont be dissapointed if nobody cares. As for your hair and nails, hair should not be a problem, but depending on what you do for a living you could have a problem with nails, even then, i think the only chance of you getting noticed is if you break one and make a scene about it, that would be a little over the top. welcome along and thanks for joining in the fun. Nigel

I spent ages just watching and reading, after all thats what the forum is here for I only really started to post after meeting heelfan and Nohj in Bristol one day. up until then I was worried that other guys wanting to wear heels and owning high heels might be weird, thank goodness that everybody I have met has been wonderful and not weird. I have been to three or four meets now with my wife, pictured to the left of this post in her 6 inchers) and we look forward to coming along to the next heelmeet local to us. I am proud to say that I have made some friends here, and not just cyber friends, guys that I ring up from time to time and have a good chat with. I think once you start posting you are hooked. Thanks for the snap shot of the members Francis. Nigel.

Hi, I think that most of us here know what you do for a living, I also like the fact that there is no hard sell and that you join in on the forum. I think that you should be careful how you attract new business but in this case you are doing nothing other than anybody else here would do, help another member. I am sure you will act accordingly and help this member out and I am sure every post wont be covered in 'buy from me' banners. besides, I am sure you will find other members recomending your heels if the situation deserved it. Thanks for joining in our fun, Nigel

well, I am about 45 mins away from you and I tried on a pair of 2" cowboy boots in priceless or whatever they are called, looked at the higher heel boots and didnt get looked at twice today, their size 9 varies quite a bit, but the cowgirl boots fitted a treat. the cowboy boots only have a heel of about 1-2 inches for us guys, so I am looking in the womans sections to get a slightly higher heel for everyday use. maybe we will all meet up sometime soon! Nigel

Hi, Yes, I take a UK Male size 10 or euro 44 and and Asda's size 8 it big enough for me, sure its a squeeze, but they are cheap. Asda in my neck of the woods is the sort of place where nobody even makes eye contact with you let alone laughs at you for trying on the 'girls shoes'. a great way to spend some time. the only problem being they tie the pairs together!, must take some cutters with me next time! Nigel

strange that I want to know why it looks like you only have three fingers and a thumb on one hand. you see we all look at different things, I have met more guys wearing heels than with three fingers, that is what I see. sorry if I have hit a sore point Jeff, but you did ask for my thoughts. nice boots btw. Nigel.

when things are seen as wars, nobody wins. goodbye.

Hi. My two pennies worth. Any type of shoe that is not the kind of boring tan/black/flat/ugly thing that us guys are made to wear by retailers should be welcomed here. Us Guys have to put up with so much dross and un-sexy styles, anybody that dares to wear something different should be heros. long live all of us! Nigel.

Thanks, I was just interested. thats all.

and miss out on the movie rights?
are you sure?
Hi Sevenup,
Aparently it is not all that strange, hence testing for it.
for us it is a case of knowing about it, we can and have managed the situation quite well since the tests, so it has been good for us.
and yes, that is a more flattering picture of my wife next to all my posts, not only can she wear them, but watching her walk in them is wonderful.
