very good, for his first time, not bad, but for those that have worn heels for a long time, he is a bit of a lightweight. the pain he is in getting out of the rain is quite funny.

It is difficult. Not many members use their real name and you would be amazed how many new members sign up with a girls name but then have a guys name in their email address. As JMC mentioned, we do keep a very close eye on the forum, We do however have a lots of real girls here and it is great to have them here sharing their point of view. We would love to have a real girl as a moderator, somebody on the website team, but this is difficult as we would not want to make a mistake by actually having a pretender. We all have spoken by phone on the team or have met, this would be no different if we were fortunate to have a girl volunteer as a moderator. Slowly, the guys that pretend will get caught out, we have done it before and will question them when we have sufficient complaints about a member. but it would not do any good just asking all the girls if they are really girls, the real ones will be offended and the guys will just lie. Lets all just get on with the forum, posting and enjoying heels. I don't really want this thread to carry on. If you have any specific complaints, PM one of the team. Thanks. I really would like to draw a line under this thread please.

You are amongst friends here, some will feel exactly the same as you. You are not alone. the more time you spend here, the lest weird you will feel. Lots of members here have tried to explain why we feel the way we do about heels/boots/shoes, you might not even know when it started or why. I am glad you found us. this place made me a lot more comfortable with myself. Welcome along.

It is going to be in London again and not Berlin, or Rome, or New York. London is Europe's global capital. It's easily and cheaply accessed by all in Europe. As well, it caters to a large part of hhplace's membership which is based out of England.

Why do you keep doing this? Because I believe in giving to society. I hate to see guys afraid of being themselves because of their particular taste in shoes. And one of the best ways of bringing people out of the closet is to create for them a setting where it is safe for them to be themselves and where they can experience "power in numbers".

Anything else to add? Not right now, just mark a space in your calendars for the Feb. 2009 World Heel Meet and watch hhplace for a specific thread posting on the matter!

Please keep this thread about the heel meet only. I am sure Kneehighs will update you all about the organisers as soon as he can.

no worries here, quite a few members have been brave enough to pop over to meet us, share a cup of tea/coffee or even stay long enough to get a pizza in. Hey, if you are anywhere near here, let me know, I would be good to meet you. For me it was good to share the site, I realised that I didn't have to be weird, strange, gay or mad to like heels. There are loads of us guys out there that like high heels, what a relief to know I have found you lot. Meeting other high heel fans is great. I recommend it. Nigel.

Laws against discrimination would have come into play, if he had.

I am not too sure if he would have been allowed to walk on the aeroplane wings in heels, he would have caused more damage than he could have repaired.

there are some jobs that wearing high heels is not a good idea, steplejacks, policemen, pig farmers, okay, so not that many, but you see what I mean.

Once again I find myself having to explain to selfish members why the girls forum is strictly moderated.

If the girls section is left open to all the guys, new members that have not read their welcome email and others that should know better will hijack the threads putting in their male POV. This pisses of the girls and they leave the entire forum. None of us want this to happen again.

Now, either join in and stick to the rules or don't bother. my reply may have been a little warmer here, but you considering my actions to be ridiculous does not do you any favors with me.
