Once we got there they made a lame effort to make it appear that they were going to opposite way from me. I soon realized why when I saw the flash of a cell phone camera behind me.

keep an eye out on all the street heeling blogs and groups, you might find yourself there, your average guys would not have bothered taking a picture of your heels for no reason!

Perhaps some of the old rockers from the 70's secretly miss wearing the platforms and are just hoping to get their bands back together so they can dig out their heels. I doubt they wear heels, but Adrian Childs from the BBC's One show often comments about guests shoes, Richard from the Richard and Judy show is a fan of heels and boots, he does not hide it. What I am getting at is that if like me and others, you are drawn to a fantastic shoe or boot, the temptation to try a pair on is is only a step away (if you can get them in your size). So there is my guess for two guys, sorry to anybody outside the UK who wont know who I am talking about. I guess short guys are an easy target for heeling, but their heeling is not going to be that secret.

Any Comments on the new boots? Good or Bad?
Tightlevisandhhboots
I like them, but they are too shiny for me, just prefer a plain black.
My new boots arrived yesterday from Mexico, even though the ebay location said LA, USA, but they came from Mexico. Not a problem, just a bit naughty I think.
They are great, far more pointy than I thought they would be, it is one view he does not show in his ebay shop which is a shame. will post some pics when I have taken some.

I and hopefully the Mrs will be in attendance. Really looking forward to seeing everybody again.

They make some fantastic boots, the 22 inch boots are on my shopping list, they have them in my size for £100 + shipping, that is very reasonable.
Fantastic.
Thats it, done the deal, they are ordered, should be here in the new year, will let you all know what they are like.

Here and here some pics of me in my knee boots
That last one has given me an idea, perhaps somebody could create us a calender for next year with boots for the winter months, sandals for the summer. of course we would need 2 versions for the different hemispheres.
can I just add that I would want pictures of lovely ladies feet on the calender by preference.

Yes very nice indeed.
I especially like the red soles of your ballet boots, quite fitting. Nice horse as well.
Keep up the excelent work.

Okay, two things Larry, First of all, I am sure most members here think that the smell of a shoe or a boot is wonderful and part of the enjoyment of wearing nice footwear. Secondly, smelly feet, not many here will like that or though there will be a few I know. I can wear a pair of leather boots all day long and they still smell great at the end of the day, but they are leather and they are £200 worth. If your payless shoes are similar to the priceless shoes over here they will be plastic and cheap and they, I am afraid to say will not stay fresh or smell nice. You might have to go down the route of cleaning the inside of the shoes with some anti bacterial spray or cleaner, perhaps like they use in a bowling alley? Also treat yourself to a few more pairs and let the smelly ones rest for a few days while you wear the others. good luck,

I would just like to say thanks to Dr. Shoe/Tara for taking on organising the event. It means a great deal to the members that attend these meetings. The chance to meet other folk with the same interest is easy if you are into vintage radios, steam trains or vintage buses, but a meeting for heel lovers and admirers is a rare (even though we have had quite a few of them) opportunity. Thanks again, I have not been to the venue, but trust your judgement, pencil me in for a fleeting visit as I doubt I would be able to make the whole event.

I think they are described as fashion shoes, therefore are not made to last, admittedly a fashion season lasts longer than your heels did! They seem to have re-grouped and have made some good changes as far as a retailer though with loads of size 10's now and some really good bargains. You are kind of right though, when you buy cheap, you quite often get cheap. thanks for spotting them and the review, glad they sorted the problem out as well.

kids have a fair bit to put up with already (growing up, handling changes in life, bullying at school etc), and I don't want to give the another pressure that they have to deal with.... sure I'll try to teach them to be open minded and not to judge people based on appearance etc, but at the same time, I do not want other people to judge them for what their father is either...... am i over protective... maybe, but that's just how I feel.... as I said, there's no one right answer.....
For me, you have hit the nail on the head, mine are in a box and well out of the way, no point getting rid of them though, I have been here a long time and know that I might go back to them, if I still have them, I can, if I get rid of them, I will have to go and buy more. While they are still in the house it is a part of me and I dont want to give any false impressions like I have passed through this stage.
I have however started buying more for my wife, loads actually. I still get enjoyment from buying them and having them around.
im gonna keep my eye on this thread as i am soon to be a father myself and have recently been thinking how i can handle this one.
My partner who i am with doesnt mind the fact i like to wear heels, but was thinking myself whether to not let my child know of my liking. In our areas its very old fashioned type people set in their ways and wouldnt want my child to be picked on at school about it etc
Well done and congratulations, I am glad things are going great for you.

A thought for all members and visitors. If you dont like it here, go. If you like it here, stay and enjoy, There is no need for this thread really. I would just delete the whole thing as it just brings me and I will bet a few others down. Let the guys who run this site get on with the job in hand, unless you have seen the constant stream of weird, annoying and rude members that constantly hassle the organisers of the site you have no idea how difficult it is to keep this site on target. The high heel place. Lets not go back to the dark days of little moderation:penitent:.

Yeh, I smiled when I saw it,
-
I think its because this site is aimed at men that wear heels. Correct me if I'm wrong.
you are wrong, It is aimed at everybody, you just have to like/love or have an interest in high heels.
There are other sites devoted to just guys and others aimed at girls.
There are however a lot of guys here.
-
I would go in a shop and have a look/feel of them. then you will know for sure. there stuff is either really good or very disappointing. the only way to know will be to see them in real life.
-
Okay, so this has just turned into another 'why cant the guys post in the girls section' the case for this has been made, the overall feeling apart from some selfish guys is that it is fair. case closed I think. right, lets get on talking about heels. thanks.

Is this the article, Nigel? In the Observer in March 2008: http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2008/mar/09/fashion1
In any event, it confirms Hardeep's interest and speaks for itself.
thats the one, well done for finding it. thanks
