Anyone else ever find that the high thin heels sometimes get stuck behind the gas pedal? It's happened once or twice to me. Curious to hear.

My first pair..... 6 inch PVC patent stiletoes. I have never looked back. Started straight at the top (which was quite a natural feeling at the time).... Going back 10 years or so.

Surely the higher, the thinner, the better..... and stiletoes of course! GOOD OLD STILETOES!!! Yum yum!

I mentioned in one of the other threads that the TV programme 'Sex & The City' features a lot of comments and chat regarding high heels. Anyone come across any of the pictures of Sarah Jessica Parker wearing heels (that they can post on this forum)? Doesn't she look GREAT in heels?

Any one else noticed the obsession with high heels in 'Sex & The City' (the programme? It seems every programme features a comment or two about Manolos (incl. shots of them). Anyone got any still shots from the series showing off the shoes?

Grace and style comes from within. It's all a matter of confidence (and training I guess).

I find if I look ahead at the 'finishing line' (ie where I want to end up), it becomes quite easy to get there whilst of course looking confident. That's why I always say it's in the mind. I guess there is some element of physical getting used to stretching etc. For me, that has happened over time.

Their photos and videos are simply awesome. I was thinking of buying a pair of super arch stilettoes from them. Are they really unreliable? I simply LOVE those shoes and not seen any as good anywhere else.

They don't look so bad afterall. Ebay pics do them justice.

phuonginheels - how small are your feet? Do you have any pics of you in very high heels? Curious to see what they look like in a steep position...

Ahh - what a GREAT subject. Also been there done that. More recently than anyone can imagine.... 2 nights ago I ended up in a local bar drinking rum and Cokes (for no reason other than celebrating the fact that summer was nearly here). Unfortunately after one or two drinks too many, I stood up, realising how wasted I really was. I attempted to walk home (which was fortuantely not too far away, although felt a lifetime away). Stupidly I was in my 5 inch white stilletoes which not only got scuffed to shreds but even worse, I broke the heel - getting it caught in between pavement (sidewalk) slabs of concrete. :-( I am so upset! Moral of the story: Don't do it!

I would guess it depends on how regularly and for how long you have been wearing high (and I mean HIGH) heels for)

Bubba - those court shoes are great. Well done for finding those. Never seen them before. Very cool! I would buy those too. The other one's (the e-bay one's), I'm not so sure about. Nice work though!

HHfanatic - you pick only the best pics. Thanks once again for sharing that with us all. Elisabeth Carson certainly has a good body. A little on the muscely side I would say but somehow she gets away with it. Her feet always look great in her heels. Can't put my finger on why???

That would be great HHfanatic. I am with you there. The female foot is simply beautiful and can be displayed sometime like a piece of art (if within the right pair of shoes). I tend to find that the higher the heel, the more the shape of the foot is normally shown off. Thanks again for that!

Nice pics. Thanks for re-awakening that threat. Those look like hooks (a little like ice skating boots have sometimes) at the side of the boot. Me thinks??
