  1. Ah OK Ruud. Never the less personally I prefer subtle jewlery (a nice slim ankle chain rather than cuffs) - it's just a matter of taste I guess... PS. I'll try and post some pics of me in my ankle chain at some point. Just got to get around to it. Feel free everyone to show me other examples. Let's get visual here!

  2. Having just seen a picture (posted elsewhere on this site) of Missy, something just clicked. I LOVE the sight of an ankle chain on the ankle, just above the beauty of a pair of high and thin stiletto heels. It's taken me all these years to realise. It is simply SO sexy!!! Anyone else get what I mean?

  3. Here's a shot of Missy in one of her latest editions to her every growing heel collection. Enjoy everyone.

Hmmmm... I saw your picture a while back but having just seen it again, it just gave me the same feeling as the last time. Those heels (the red ones) are just awesom!!! I WANT!!!! You have inspired me to look around for a pair of metal heels. I really love them! They look great on Missy! As for the ankle chain. Fantastic!

  4. I'd definitely wear stiletto heels to an interview, but I wouldn't wear anything about 4" as I'd feel it wasn't appropriate.

For some reason I still feel as though there's a stigma attached to a woman that wears say 5" or even 6" heels out and about - either to work or just shopping.

I myself have disapproving looks off female colleagues when I've worn my 5½" courts to work, so I think that wearing them to an interview would be out of the question

Becky - I SO SO disagrtee with you! When I see a woman wearing 5 inchers or above, I have sympathy and nothing but positive thoughts. We all afterall know how much effort goes into wearing such shoes. I don't like tarty but if stylish, high heel stiletoes always impress me!

  5. Perhaps, High Surprise, you might wait and see if your floor 'settles' down in time - I remember a floor which was marked, but near the photocopier it had so much standing the marks were almost invisible as the whole floor got 'compressed'. You might also check whether the heels hurting your floor might be worn to much narrower than the original tip, say just a few mm or fraction of an inch across. It can happen with some.

Hi All heel - I think my issue is that because I wear heels so often, the floors just get more and more worn. Many of my heels are also metal tipped and I wear them all outside too. The metal becomes sharper when you wear them outdoors. A sacrifice I am quite happy to make

  6. I thought I would dedicate this thread to MINIMAL chat and LOTS of real life sighting pictures (please try and keep the text to a minimum!!!! - this is intended for mostly pics):

So, this is what I spotted today... Here goes:

    Enjoy!

  7. I've never really been a fan of socks and heels - somehow socks detract from the beauty and elegance of the foot in the heels. You lose the lines and flesh / sight of the muscles, veins etc. No - I say. Plus I always find feet get to hot in heels with socks. I've tried it and never liked the feeling. Anyone else have comments?
