Some colors are half off or so on Nike's siteDefinitely want a pair of Nike Sky Hi. Haven't found a pair in a great price point, yet. I'll definitely wear those outside, though.

Giving Skyscrapers a shot, will post a review soon after my boots show up

how hi are those pup?
I've been liking them. They are have thinner material then the Nike or Puma's, so they may not be as warm in the winter, but they will be great when it heats up again here. I got them in red, and plan to get a pair in black also.

Nice looking rain boots, Rockpup. I wouldn't mind having a pair myself. There is no Nordstrom's or their Rack store anywhere near me. And as far as, Coach, I didn't know they made boots either.
Happy Heeling,
bluejay
Coach makes boots, but I've never seen a pair of rubber boots with higher heels then the Hunter's I have.

Stopped by the new Nordstrom Rack near my place (only 45 minutes away! Woohoo!), and came away with a new pair of rain boots

They are my first pair by Coach, which this specific store seemed to have quite a selection of, and were about $60. The heel is a full 5", with about 1" of platform. They were a size 11, but with thicker socks they seem fine, so might get some use outside. The rubber is nice and shiny, so they will go with some clothes I have.

It is Kansas. Most people I know from there got out as soon as they were able to.

Last time I used Halloween as an excuse was probably 20 years ago buying my first pair of heels.Any old excuse eh?

Wore my black Nike's at a jobsite all day yesterday, customer never noticed. Oh darn, gotta wear heels today to maintain the same height
Will try the Qupid boots today.
Gonna try the red Adidas wedges again today, see if I like them this time. -
Patriotism...And your point is?

Secretly photographic people in public may be legal, and may be all over, but including someone in your fetish without their knowledge can be considered creepy, as Freestyle75's co-worker points out. Too many stories of stalkers photographing their victims before they do something worse are out there to easily defend your actions if you get caught doing so by the person you are photographing.

I think that the dealer may have intended the whole business as a light-hearted spoof of other bike photography.
(From the perspective of a motorcyclist, albeit not Ducati.)

Exactly, I saw this campaign as a bit of a joke. They were not trying to be real about it.

Dr Shoe: True enough. We stayed with friends at one point, and either the ADSA was just a few miles away, or we'd take the train into London where we walked or took a bus to get around. Not nearly as much driving as I would do on an average day here.
We did try to rent a diesel station wagon to get better milage, but even with gas it was not too bad.
Someone from the States needs to carry cash though, as our cards do not have the chip/pin, or has that gone away since 2008?

The thing I noticed in the UK was that regular soda and redbull were both £0.99, and batteries were amazingly expensive. Also, you can get a 2 liter bottle of Strongbow cider, which is very nice.

Hhboots: phone 'corrected' your name, hehe

B&b lots: they are the same length toe to heel as my work boots, but are narrower on the outside. That part is odd since my work boots are a bit narrow for my feet, but the wedge boots are comfortable.
-
Got mine, they seem pretty big for the size, but thick socks seemed to help. I can see these being quite handy, but doubt I can use them for work.
-
Very comfortable... I've worn them pretty much all day the last couple days, walked around for a couple of hours non-stop, and have had no discomfort or issues. I am really happy with them.
Ok, ordered a pair. Will give them a shot

The internet is always predictable. I've gotten to try on a couple pairs of Louboutin's, and love the looks of some of their shoes/boots.Unbelievable, I start a post about something I thought was cool and it took all of three replys for someone to start bashing. -
I was considering the Kotek's, but the three times I checked them out I walked off without asking for my size. TheQupids look nice. Will be interested in a review.Update: Well the deeply frugal side of me kicked in, and I found a very similar pair to the $130 Aldo Kotek's (posted in the first picture). These ones are at Amazon, called Qupid Roy-02 (2nd picture), for just $40 including shipping. They are equally as ugly as the Aldo's
and also are close to a 4" heel, but well, they will be another good work shoe for me to wear without any concern, and were a heck of a lot cheaper than the Aldo boots, so I am pretty happy

Kashaze: the high heel diet! Woohoo

I work with family, and in the mechanical service field, so spike heels are not typically an option, and even wedge sneakers may not be safe if climbing around equipment. Today though I am alone (mostly) in the office so have spent most of the morning in 3.5" Ash Chloe pumps. Only took them off when my brother and his wife stopped by for a few minutes. Will try to wear these most of the day.

Hidden Heels... Maybe Not Pointless
