Thighbootguy: yea, yea, yea. As I was paying for them I thought I should have gotten pics in the store. I will correct that at the next shop I hit north of West Palm Beach on my way to Cape Canaveral.

Tried on another pair but they were a bit glossy. Didn't have the red pumps I wanted in my size. Oh well.

The sales guy was very friendly and helpful even though the store was busy.

Some people are a bit arrogant with their driving as well. We joke that if it does not rain for two weeks, everyone forgets how to drive on wet roads. This seems to be true considering the number of accidents the first time it rains in a while.

 

I have also seen the Dallas area when it iced over for the first time in 75 years. You have 3 generations of drivers who never drove on ice. Watching others would have been funny if we did not have to make it home in those conditions too.

For the brutal south Florida winters I still like my moon boots. They work up north too, but durability is bad.

That's a shame. Great looking heels. What was the problem, too feminine? I loved the look myself.

Not sure, just never quite me. Only pair I ever got I wanted to wear only on carpet just in case.

Eh, taking my Nine West Coherent pumps back. Just never warmed up to the look on my feet even though the heel height worked out.

Hows the fit?

Seem a little tighter in the toes then my usual picks, but snug, not painful. Trying to see if they break in before there are signs of wear. The straps will remove my issue of walking out of pumps. The jeans I wore with the 3.5" Ash pumps keep me from stepping out of them too

I did find out the reason for the Nine West photo showing two girls and a guy wearing blue heels, if you tweet a pic of yourself wearing a pair of their blue shoes they will donate $10 toward breast cancer research. 

 

Amazingly, the factory store I stopped at had no blue heels for sale. 

 

 

I am not certain the context of this picture, but I approve of the new Army PT uniform.

Stopped by the Nine West shop on Miami' South Beach. Tried on the Coherent pump in black. The helpful sales girl made zero fuss after I said they were for me, and saw that I was wearing 3.5" pumps already. She said they were one of her favorite new models

I got them in 9.5, and with a 4.5" heel I am hoping they work out well.

Out shopping for heels wearing my new Ash sneakers. Stopped by a Nine West where a very nice sales girl helped me try a couple boots. Too bad they did not have the Cohearent pump I wanted to try

Did a little shopping today. Finally tried the Sorel Joan Of Arctic Wedge in black at a Nordstroms. I really found them comfortable and struggled to come up with a reason not to buy them to tell the sales person (cannot afford $240 right now). Oh well. Hit a few outlets and finally found the Ash Thelma sneakers in black leather in my size! And at a price I can deal with now

I started to dislike cracking after feeling a sharp bang of an earthquake caused by it northwest of the Dallas area when visiting the Inlaws. They stated a few areas are trying to ban it as the quakes have caused damages to homes.

I think lowering our consumption of fuels makes sense on several levels, and do not miss the yellow haze our old coal power plant used to put out. I do think its funny that our govt has put such an emphasis on hybrid/EV while existing clean diesels can be sold in the EU. What's the VW Polo Bluemotion getting? 60mpg using US standards? While using existing infrastructure?

Jkrenzer: Are those the Newbee model? I've been thinking about getting a pair. How do you like them?

Hey everyone, I just got back from a quick trip to Chicago to marry my boyfriend of over twelve years. We had to travel as Florida still has a ban in place. Our ceremony was officiated by a long time advocate for gay rights advocate for gay rights.

Leading up to it I was thinking this would just be the legal side of it, with a ceremony at home for family and friends. What we did have was a bit inside for the gay kink community, but was so much more 'us' and was really special.

As for this sites specific interest, I did not wear very high heels, but was wearing 2" wedge motorcycle boots, to go with the motorcycle gear We kept the helmets off for the ceremony.

Pleaser's in leather are still a decent value. I doubt I will get any non leather boots from them in the future

Hidden heels are not 100% hidden. When wearing shorts it's funny to see someone notice something odd, but unable to figure it out.

Sometimes you see someone notice something 'odd' about wedge sneakers, but unable to identify the issue.

Wedgemao: I recommend the Adidas, I also recommend staying with the black. I have a pair of red suede that look nice, but are a #$%^ to keep clean

Diesel boots, jeans and tshirt. Nothing too fancy. Had to lighten shadows as the sun tends to bleach everything.
