Well, i have to stand corrected. When i said i haven´t seen a trench coat in ages that was meant as in a man wearing a trench coat. Maybe that is due to the militaristic look that we came to avoid due to our shameful past.

You see trench coats worn by women now and then, they are a fashion object for the ladies. Helen has one as well, but i don´t.

Many companies have set up warehouses in countries having cheap international postage. I bought some technical stuff from a canadian company, it was shipped from Russia (and produced in Malaysia). I bought 2 LED voltmeters from Banggood, total cost for 2 including shipping from China was 0,99€. I could not send even a postcard from Germany to China for that much (or little) money.

You still see them here  sometimes, but mostly a more modern version with cleaner lines. I like this style a lot!
