  1. Everything is right. I just don't personally feel like going to wearing skirts.

I love flare jeans. I buy them in the women section. Also slim fit jeans. Honestly said both draw people attention the same when they are worn with high heels.

  2. Whaoo! Congratulations!

That's not because I don't  like the look. The opposite. I love it! I use to wear stilettos at home without modifying any of my male outfits.

Just i am not bold enough for wearing such shoes publicly

my 14 cms ( size 43) Oxford block heels are already visible enough for me

    I admire you

  3. I share most of your points of view and feelings. No desire to be noticed, wearing heels for my own pleasure ......

So far, I think boots,Oxford with Cuban or block heels are the easiest to match male outfits. I would wish to wear pumps but that's too extreme for outing without getting the risk of troubles

  4. Hello

yes I did ! And it appears that there was 3 raisons to that.

First I wasn't walking properly: the heel was touching the ground first with a lot of pressure on it. So I trained, trying to walk in an exaggerate way,the heel and the ball reaching the soil at the same time. That's just training, not the way we have to walk in real.

Then I realized that the heels that flex or  break were ( also ) of poor quality and not well fixed to the shoe itself. Only one screw and some short nails. A normal cobbler can fix if easily. And the heel if very high must be reinforced with metallic insert. If only plastic, very high heel are not strong enough and flex

And the construction of the shoe must position  the heel righ under your heel foot. Not behind, not to much forward.

    Hope it could help

  5. Yes,great job @hiddenheels!!

Your post is so similar to what I ( and many others here probably) have experienced.

Same choice of a far enough location

Same firt our side walk in the dark and hidden heels.

    Same duration

Same messing around with the phone if a group of guys is in sight. That is still the only situation I could be worried about

Same feeling walking in flat just changing for 1" lower.

Have fun ! Keep on posting !

  6. Dresse de as a man, with heels. That's totally unusual. And that's why it's fun. No one can put a tag on you!

I am getting old also. So I am wearing heels visible more and more. Go ahead.

  7. Oh! That sucks!

If my 1/10000 odd is good ( which is probably not), crossing the CDG airport departure/ check in level all the way long approximately 30 times a year, with at least 1000 persons able to see me,that make 3 pictures of myself in someone cell phone!

Plus all other airports and different places  I use to go with unhidden heels, then  more than 10 could possible

But! Not so many people notice someone walking from the front,a lot from behind and for sure standing in the escalator.

In that case the face is not visible

i never noticed someone obviously taking a picture of myself. What a good thing not to be a well known personality!

Conclusion: I won't give up wearing visible heels in public!

  8. For me, the different steps walking in heels outside are:

1/- hidden block heels boots or booties

    2/- hidden stilettos booties

3/- visible block heels boots or booties

    4/- visible stilettos booties

5/- hidden very female style stilettos court shoes

    6/- visible court shoes

i personally am fine until step 3.sometimes step 4 .Not yet steps 5 and 6

as RonC wrote, the risk someone could take a picture and post it somewhere worries me . The odds are 1/10000  (?) but not nothing

depending the place the risk being noticed by someone we know is more important. So far it personally never happened

So....let's go ahead and wear heels

  9. I am also worried about wearing heels could do,to my body. And even more because I like quite, high heels.

Nothing bad is noticeable so far.

What execises would you recommend if several days with flats can't be avoided?

And just a remark: after several hours in heels,it difficult to return to flats physically AND (!) mentally! As if I had to loose my real identity

Do you experience such a feeling?

  10. It happened to me one an half year ago. Landing in Beijing. Heading to the immigration control, walking as fast as I could in order to arrive  before  the herd. I started to notice some weakness in the right heel. Then it suddenly broke. I had to stop and change for the sneakers I fortunately had in the back pack. But what a shame. So many people saw me,probably mainy had laughed and I reached the immigration at the worse moment..

Bad feeling, but some, good lessons: never buy shit Chinese shoes for outside uses ,learn  how to walk properly, never rush with high heels, don't give a damn to what other could think.

  11. I can't stop wearing heels!

The title doesn't mean that if I had to stop wearing heels in general, it would be difficult to accept.

Yes! Of course. It would!  As many has already written here,it seems impossible. Some had tried. And back to heels wearing again.

No. I just mean that if I have the opportunity to wear heels during several hours,it is really difficult to go back to flat. As if I have to get rid of something that is necessary to my balance, physically and mentally!

Has others here experienced that feeling. A frustrating one without any doubt.
