At first when I started wearing heels I was looking at people’s faces and thinking i cannot do this, and now I don’t even look and carry on as normal J, if i need to park the car away from my workplace I still put on heels to walk to work which is across the road. I get a few glances but who cares (I’m happy), but as far as i know i have not offended anyone doing this J. Also on my dinner me and my best friend (female) walk around the perimeter of the building on the pavement and walk round several times, even past a bus stop where a get a few glances but that is it.. we have spoken to a man with his dog and he was impressed J the heels are mainly from new look and dp the heels are 4.5 inch or higer, also i won an award from my team for the best shoes J. So my advice is to try it and ENJOY it while you can J

Hi I am one of the lucky ones At my work they do what is called diversity where you can wear what you want to as long as it DOES NOT AFFEND anyone. So I have been wearing, 4inch plus and last week for a day 5.5 inch NO PLATFORM high heels to work every day for 2 years. The first few months it had been really stressful, to which point I nearly gave up (it was not the comments but the looks) , but now I would not look back, and now people say I look strange in trainers J, also the company did a conference in a hotel and I was going to change into my trainers and one of the nicest managers said why so I left my 4.5 inch heels on and walked to and from the hotel even through the foyer , what a DREAM;-). Also all the mangers i have had has been Very Very supportive and i really thank them ALL !! Also i would like thank all my freinds at work as well who are really great with what i am doing.! ALL I CAN SAY IS IF YOU WANT TO DO IT, JUST DO IT AS YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN !!!. Thanks for reading.

the sling backs were from matalan (fiore colection) there is a bit of walking but not that much:cry1: i would still wear them if i was on them all day:smile:

here are the shoes i am wearing at the moment, also i have worn french connection xmas pressie but i not got a pic of them yet. basically just ask if you can wear them or just wear them !!! ( i get some looks but it dont last forever and people just then get used to it ). i hope this helps people who want to wear heels:smile:

I work in an office and wanted to wear heels, so i saw the best manager ever:online2long: and said is it ok as there is no dress code re footware hay presto im now wearing heels

The first day was the most nervious day but now it is fine.
So if you want to wear heels to work all i can say JUST DO IT !!
The heels range from 4inch to 4.75 inches, I did 6 inches at christmas but i needed more pratice so i went down to 4 inch :-( -

a few hrs a day i wore 5.5 inch heels for 5hrs last week the shoes for alton towers have a thick heel

thanx you 4 the reply I am thinking of wearing 4.75 inch shoes for the day to alton towers do you think this is manageable as i have never worn them 4 this length of time about 10 hrs?

i hope you get better soon as i could not cope long with out heels !!
