I am basically 24/7 in heels. The odd night I sleep without heels. Usually I bath for a long time and if I am without heels for a short while am OK. If I am without heels for even a couple hours my feet cramp and my calves spasm.
-
Well I thought I was 5/7" all my life but found out in my medical a couple years ago that I am only 5.6". Since I was about 14 years old I have worn a size 7 shoe but since I have become 24/7 in heels my shoe size is more of a 6.5. I imagine this because my toes are so rammed in the front of the shoes due to the weight and pressure put on them. Sheryl

I have know some gals who have had toes removed or shortened for this reason. My toes are bent and not really overlapped but look like they have been run over by a car or beaten with a sledgehammer. My small toe actually bends right under my foot and this causes me more pain recently.
-
If I am not locked in my ballet shoes I try and take my shoes off and stretch my toes and ankles every hour of so. I sit all day so it is certainly not the same as standing all day. Any of you gals stand all day in heels. I have worked a trade show once in heels and that was torture. Sheryl

I got a pair of 6.5" with no platforms and cannot really walk long but have worn them out. Almost like my ballet boots but without the same support the boots give you.
Wondering how many can wear & walk in HIGH Stilettos & for how long?

The size of your feet can make a difference on what height looks best. If you have real small feet (ie size 5) then wearing anything more than a 4 inch heel looks awkward. I have a friend who wears a size 10 and she feels that her feet look awkward regardless of what heel height.
-
I could likely as I can now hobble along (like a total drunk after a night of hard drinking) in my ballet boots but they are so unsexy that I would not want them anyway
-
Anything that endangers you is bad. I usually remove my heels if I am driving on any freeway or for long trips. No way I can do it ballet boots without getting into an accident.
I would think it would be a danger driving in 7" ballet boots. I would rather be tied up in them.

My highest shoe is a 6 inch stilletto, I have two pair of ballet boots which are 7 inches. In my dreams I would love to LIVE IN BALLET BOOTS

Saw this in the guys forum, so was wondering how tall you ladies were? I don't think this is a repost. ONLY VOTE IF YOU ARE A GIRL PLEASE! Here are a few questions as well for a bit of conversation
How tall are you?
5.6" Always thought I was 5.7" until my recent medical
Are you happy with your height? I would like to be 5.5" or 5.4"
Does your height have any bearing on why you wear heels?
I would try higher (maybe more six inch) if I was an inch shorter
What would be your perfect height?
Maybe 5ft 4in
How does your height compare to your partner?
My husband is 6.0" so a 5" is max. I am taller with my ballet boots and he hates that.

I would say skirts and dresses most often but I do wear extra long pants when I am in ballet boots and do not want anyone to see them.

Never done Pony Botts but have started wearing my ballet boots out more this past year. Mostly with long jeans or long skirt that covers my feet as it causes way too many comments and stares. The fact that I stumble when I walk and am over 6' tall with them on is enough notice. Shery
Early this year, my husband bought me from Australia a pair of black leather knee high, front lace pony hoof boots.
I do have a boot fetish but when I opened the parcel; I was mortified. They were difficult at first to get used to and after a few hours practice in our home; I tried them on the concrete driveway. Very, very noisy indeed.
I have worn them several times out in Manchester, London and Amsterdam. I feel quite excited wearing them under long flaired leather trousers and heads always turn due the noise of the steel hoof.
Any other girls share this experience?

Each year the word stuck in heels certainly is more correct. A couple years ago I spend more time at home lounging without shoes but now besides showers, long baths and swimming and the ODD night in bed I have heels 24/7
-
I have never been forced to do this as my heels are a part of me and my choice but I think if it was forced on me by my husband I would likely be quite pissed off.
I was getting ready for work on monday morning when I realized that my husband had taken all on my non high heels. In there place were five pair of 5” heels in all different colors. I called him and he told me that all of my other shoes were locked away in a foot locker and they would stay there until spring. He also told me if he saw me wearing anything but the high heels he would take all of my pants and leave me only tight slutty leather skirts to wear. So I cannot leave the house unless I am in five inch heels. Has anyone had this happen? And what would you do?

I can live with men in casual attire very well but if you put on a suit then put on the dress shoes. It would be like me wearing a formal 3/4 length dress and runners. Sorry not for me
-
I have a pair in my car usually with very soft rubber tipped heels in black so they are worn inside if I see that a wood floor is present. I did some damage once to someones lino floor with my heels though.
-
Sorry my feet look not so attractive but I would never shorten my toes. This seems even drastic for me. Anyone here ever done that?
-
I have not but they look good. How much are these and are they good quality?
-
No tattoos as they are too permanent and I have never seen an old granny look good with tattoos. I have pierced just about anything you can pierce but today the only ones in are my ears and belly button.

This may upset many of the men on this site but Men in Heels can be freaky for me. I find that the same with men in a corset but certainly things should be a womans domain. I am not a lesbian but do find other ladies in heels sexy but never a man in heels.
-
No thanks. Coming from a gal who is as clumsy as they come and had my heel stuck or broken off more times than I can remember these things are ugly. If I wanted this I would just go to a shoe with a chunkier heel.

Anyting over 4 inches with a thin heel is a stilleto for me.

Items 1, 2 and 4 are all very suitable for the office. I am not a regular boot fan. I think item 5 is a little showy with the tassle. Depending on the type of office and the overall attire I think the max is a four inch heel. I have a couple of tiny gals in the office who are just over 5 feet and they wear 4 inch heels and it looks trampy but I am 5.7" and it is not as bad. Sheryl:clap:
I just wanted to get an idea what people consider to be work appropriate footwear in office work environments. Of course, some people would consider open toed shoes, sandals, and heels higher than 4 inch never appropriate, but I've seen people pull it off and look stylish. I work in an office environment and just want to see some people's opinions. Thanks!

Pointy shoes are another male creation to punish woman. I hate them but admit that I do have some simply because they do look stylish.
How long do your shoes last?

Never even thought of selling shoes on ebay (better not let my husband know about that one). I have very rarely worn out shoes. Currently I have about 20 pairs of 4 inch heels, 10 pairs of 4.5" heels, 5 pairs of 5 inch heels and a couple pairs of 6" heels not counting a few ballet boots for fun. I rotate about 20-25 pairs for daily use so each pair may only get worn 1-3 times a month. Sheryl
