I agree. Sometimes it's the gentler sort that may attract them after being in a bad relationship - but onward to the color of the day, which today is gold colour, since I haven't done it in a while, and the bottle was looking at me like a lost puppy......just had to do it. :-) Maybe tomorrow I'll add some shimmer to it.

Yep, I found that out last year. I did a couple of experimental pairs, and no problem at all, so now I heel just about every day that there isn't snow on the ground! I agree....just do it! It makes your appearance just that much sharper, and the ladies seem to approve of it even more than the guys!

Wow...you are braver than I when it comes to ice. I don't take chances on wearing heels when I have to cross ice, as it's a long way down to the ground. Glad you made it okay though!

I think for the benefit of all concerned, until it can be decided what to do with this thread, I'm going to shut it down for now to prevent any flame wars or other fighting. This story is just way over the top for anything we would like to see on hhplace.

I found today that the uppers on my Pleaser Flair 2010 4.5" heel platform boots were separating from the platform at the back of the heel. I noticed it because one of them was making a noise when I walked. Has anyone else experienced this?

I used Super Glue to try to glue them back together, but haven't tried them, yet.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has had this happen. That style has got to be one of the worst-made ones by Pleaser yet. I bought them in a size (since Pleaser runs small), and during one of the first times I took them off, when I tried to slide them off, the area above the zipper ripped! So I got them in a 16 thinking it would solve the problem. The zipper hasn't ripped on this one, but the heel between the sole and platform is also coming loose. I had thought about trying some superglue/epoxy to reinforce it, but haven't yet either. Also, the coating on the platform is very thin and if you scratch it at all, it's RED underneath. So now I have to decide if I can re-coat it, or if I should just throw in the towel on that pair.

They do! I've seen 'em out there, and for those who don't want to punch holes in their ears, I think it's a great way to get the look.

There are some styles on the Sexy Shoes website that have chunky 4" heels on them that are quite nice - you might check there.

I think that sums it up quite nicely as well. There is nothing that says guys can't "mix it up" as much as the ladies can, and there are increasing amounts of ladies that rather like seeing us guys getting ourselves fixed up proper once in a while.

I like both of the first 2, but the second one would probably be more suitable for wearing out. The first one has more of the bedroom look, although I'm sure there are those here who could rock those heels with no problem whatsoever.

I voted whenever and wherever I want, because this year I think I've crossed a few boundaries into freedom that I didn't think were possible before - guess that's what confidence does to ones self. :-)

I've seen this brand advertised on here more than once. Are they more durable than hose made by other companies, such as No Nonsense and L'eggs? I love the thought of perhaps tights instead of hose to wear with boots, but I have other clothing ideas in mind to go with those. Also, tights might be warmer in the cooler months.

Whoa! What a whomping wall of text THAT is! Perhaps a link to the article might suffice? I do agree that I rather enjoy the "women's" clothing styles more when I make my outfits, but once bought, as with heels, they become MINE. mwahahahahahahaha! *runs off with wardrobe*

White is a hard colour to get to look good on anyone, but you pulled it off nicely! If I want to do a light colour, it's usually pearl, shimmery silver, or light blue. I haven't done any light fuschias yet, but I'm working on it.

I'd love to know as well! I betcha dollars to doughnuts that they're not available in larger sizes no matter who makes them.

I usually wear 2 in each ear, along with 1 stud per side. I like wearing them smaller to larger going front to back, so they seem concentric.

At least no one ran over a stiletto and punctured a tire. Can you imagine having to explain to your boss why you were late to work that day?
