I have got to say I totally respect your dignity, Happy. Honestly, I would not have handled those comments nearly as well. You are truly the boss... I don't care if that sounds like a complete kiss-ass comment, but seriously, that was friggen impressive dude.

It's great to have you back here posting again HappyFeat, and pleased to see that you are still strutting tall and with style.

-
Jeff, I haven't visited your thread in a while, and have to say wow. Every time I come back to this thread, I am still impressed at how you have continued to define freestyling fashion and as always have kept it looking cool. ... and HappyFeat, its really great to see you around again, hope to see more posts from you.

I actually do this a few times each year, otherwise my collection would grow out of control. I try my hardest to keep my collection in the 50-60 range. So as I am always buying new pairs, I go through my collection, lay them out, and think about what I rarely if ever wear or if I feel I am no longer attached to a pair. I usually have no problem getting rid of cheaper pairs (I have bought far too many 'bargains' online), so I guess gradually I am slowly upgrading my collection over time. At least that is the theory. Anyway, to your question, yes, I can and do sell, and if I feel they don't have much resale value or is not worth my effort to try to sell, I often just have the wife add it to the donation pile she takes out from time to time.

Excellent, I missed that... thank you. They do have a US site, just click on the flag in the top right corner.

The 'United Nude' website does have some rather interesting shoe designs, along with a lot of ugly shoes as well. You do have to scroll pretty far down to see some of the better ones (the ones posted above are there as well).
I really have to give it to them on some of their clever designs. If I had lots of money to burn, I might be interested in trying a few of their items, just for the fun of it.

I really like those boots NewfieGuy, in fact, they have a size 10 left on clearance, however, they don't seem to have a reasonable shipping option to the US ... shootJust ordered these from the local branch,
http://www.callitspr...388-griffina/96
A nice anytime boot with a high solid heel. And on clearance "to boot" ( pun intended). The sales girl who started serving me was new and wasn't use to me, or ordering in shoes for customers, so the assistant manager who I know had to help he and she actually tried to put in a men's width. And she said "no its a women's boot so it's a b width" and the new girl seemed stunned for a sec, it was funny. I really hope she's working when I go to pick them up and try them on.
ahh well.

eh, interesting thread... I think anyway
borderline sarcasm, humor, and I am not sure what else was in there
Anyway, happy weekend to all... on both sides of the pond -
Really nice corsets, you are a lucky guy. Oh ya, I guess she is lucky too

Hey heelguy, sorry to hear that you are not able to get out to heel as much, and as a result you're not posting here very often anymore. So, I might have missed a post somewhere, but last I read (around September last year), you were so happy to be out in the open with everyone around you and you seemed to be on a path to complete heeling freedom. Anyway, if you see this, can you post to say what has changed since then to make your public heeling adventures almost completely disappear? Oh I really like the CL's you bought a couple of months back, but if you don't get to wear them out much, that was quite an expense that only gets to be worn indoors on occasion.

Those heels are nice, and a really cool look with the mirrored heel that sort of disappears from the side view. I do like them. Also, a bit weird for me to add this, but those jeans are a pretty good fit, too.
heh -
... haha, I was thinking the same thing.Sounds like wishful fantasy.

A bit silly I think, but I suppose it could be an ankle bracelet replacement in some cases. It might even be somewhat practical if the face of the watch is worn on the inner facing side of your ankle so you could read it if you sat on a chair, crossed your legs with your ankle resting on the opposite thigh (if you get my meaning... its a common sitting style for guys, but not as common for women as they more often cross legs with one closely draped over the other). I'm probably over analyzing it

Yes, once you go beyond 5 inch heel non-platform, every 1/4 inch higher increases the angle significantly, so a 6 inch or higher gets very close to 90 degree incline. I only own a couple of pairs of 6" non-platforms and would say I can walk in them for about 5 minute intervals, but couldn't go a significant distance that I would even think of wearing them out of the house. I have noticed it is a little bit easier to do with boots, for me anyway, perhaps the extra support from boots helps out, and I think as pebblesf mentioned the quality of the shoe construction/design can make a difference as well.

Cool, they confirmed my strongly held belief which was stated in an earlier thread.

To address that specific question, I've found that the more open-air the pumps are (low vamp cut and perhaps peep toe too), such that air can get to most of the foot, the better. The ones in your avatar look to be a higher vamp (more enclosed), so there is potential for that issue to happen to you. It helps if you take really good care of your feet, keep them well groomed, etc. But eventually, bacteria can/will develop in the shoe, you can help avoid that with thin moisture absorbing inserts, and swapping them out after a while.... I find with bare feet, there is no slippage. Would my shoes start to stink after a while?

No, all of my messages are for the mods in this thread. No users should have anything to do with this whatsoever. No changes or action from users is needed at all. These messages are purely trying to explain the issue to the mods. It is most likely occurring either within the message board host or the configuration of this website. Thanks.I am not sure I understand it completely.
On which computer does this happen?
On the one of Tech? Our computers? Or at Google?
But no matter what, shouldn't Google do something about this, or at least send warnings around?
This sounds to me like outright stealing and because money transfers are involved, it should be possible to track it
to somewhere.

Thanks manluvheels...For what it's worth hhboots, I didn't think that the problem Amanda found was peculiar to her browser or setup. Like you I replicated it in various ways and in different machines.
I think you may have a very valid theory for the loss in revenue, but I am not Tech. Sorting it out could be a nightmare so I am glad it's not me doing it. And also glad there are techie guys like you to think about these things and give input.
So to add more technical details: I did a little research on the "url4short.info hijack" and apparently this hijack/redirect problem is pretty common with quite a lot of message boards.
If my guess is correct, they are doing this to quietly siphon adsense revenue from little forums such as this one and they take a long time to first discover and then to eradicate. I gathered from a couple of mod comments I found, that say it injects sophisticated code and disguises itself as code for an Invision Power Board Firewall within one of the config.php files
-
I pretty much expected my technical suggestion as to a potential real cause to be overlooked, a shame really, but the focus went right back to the adblocker.
I earn a good living in the IT industry troubleshooting such matters all the time. Oh well, I tried... I'm moving on.

The woman in the foreground has nice legs and lovely tall non-platform heels, very attractive I must say
Is that by chance your neighbor friend or just someone that happened to get in the shot too?
As for the woman with two different color shoes, I have not seen someone do that before... with heels anyway, sort of interesting I suppose
-
Tech, I am wondering if there is more of a technical issue with google's link to hhplace rather than blaming ad-blockers. I couldn't imagine that there would have been that dramatic of a change in users all of the sudden starting use of ad-blockers that you would have noticed a significant difference like that.
The reason I think it might be a technical issue is related to an issue I think Amanda Snake brought up a couple of months back, that actually still exists today.
If you go to google and type in any search term to bring you to this site, even something like "high heels forum", one of the first links is hhplace.org. However, if you click on this link, it takes you to some other malware looking website (url4short.info) that is completely unrelated to hhplace.org. There seems to be some sort of strange DNS redirect from google that is causing this.
I have been able to reproduce this from several computers and using any web browser. It only redirects the first time you click on the link, so in other words, when you go back to google and re-click the link, it works fine and comes to this site. Back when Amanda brought this up, people just sort of dismissed it as a user issue and suggested that she should just create a 'favorite' or type the direct URL to come to the site, etc, instead of really looking at this from the perspective of being a real technical issue.
So anyway, my thought is that google AdSense may be pulling this bogus redirect and therefore not crediting this site correctly for the ad links from it and instead is crediting that malware site. In my experience working in the computer industry, stranger things have happened, even if my suggestion sounds like a bit of a stretch, it should be considered a real possibility

Haha, good for him, looks like that guy occasionally lets his fem side show rocking those semi-tight capri pants and loafers, and his 'grandmother' jacket later in the video

-
Definitely has to be either barefoot or with sheer tan/nude hosiery only... I would not wear any other color of sock/hosiery with that combination of pants and shoe. Good for you for being bold enough to wear those pants. I would never attempt white myself

This mother is just screwing up her daughter in so many ways. While I agree her wearing very high heels at 11 is definitely not advisable and could cause her issues later in life... as heels2u pointed out, her feet will probably be the least of her problems as she becomes an adult.

Ballet Flats
in For the guys
Posted
I have relatively small feet for a guy and so its actually easier for me to find 9½-10 women's than a men's 8-8½ in many cases. Also, I find women's flats are usually more refined, lightweight, form fitting, and comfortable than men's shoes are... I know they're purposely designed to be rugged for men, but I have never been that much of a 'rugged' kind of guy I suppose. So I've been buying women's athletic / casual shoes for several years now. I think I have only a couple pairs of actual 'mens' shoes now out around 60+ pairs in my shoe collection. As for Ballet Flats, I had not really thought about buying those until seeing this thread, which inspired me to recently get a plain black pair made of leather, no bows or frilly decorations, they look nice, and were pretty inexpensive. They feel a bit odd at first but after a while I almost forget I have them on and are quite comfy, but have not yet tested them on really long walks. Well anyway, I'm happy with them and may get some more in the future.
