  1. My wife loves that program, me not so much. Wife saw the shoe fetish program, thought it was funny, said she can relate, since her husband is a shoe guy, but not a philanderer like the guy on the program. She did say that her shoe collection is no where near the collection on the show, but she did admire the shoes. Recorded the program for both of us to watch at a later date. SF.

  2. I always do a review and always use my real name. Sometimes I mention that I am a guy, sometimes not. I have never had a review refused - to my surprise frankly. My latest review was for a pair of sandals from Marmi shoes. The sandals were by VanEli, called Melea. In addition to the review, I did something that I have never done before, I posted a picture, and they posted both!! Thank you Marmi!! A wonderful place to shop I might add - both on line and in person. sf

  3. I have been a member here for several years, and my wife knows that I have an account and post here occasionally. A few days ago, my wife took me up on my offer to show her the site so she could see what it is all about. Prior to that she had never seen the HHPlace site. We logged on and I gave her a "tour" showing her my posts and those of all you here. She even explored around a bit afterward. In general, I think looking around satisfied her curiosity about the site, but not sure if she was convinced that the site is useful. I told her that for me, it is a fun place to exchange ideas and information. She is a shoe gal, and like me, enjoys shoes and heels. I offered to set up an account for her, she declined and said she will just use my account. I guess my question is, do others out here share their HHPlace postings etc, with their spouses, and significant others? sf P.S. I did ask her to identify herself if she were to post a comment on my account - ha ha.....

  4. Well, thank God I would classify myself as "mentally fit." But I do like to wear women's shoes, and in public - egads!!! And I have never seen another guy out in gals shoes. I find wearing women's shoes very relaxing and sometimes even fun. My wonderful wife supports me and my friends are OK with it. For me, women's shoes are a refreshing break from the daily stress of normal life. Today is a beautiful day, and I plan on heading out in a nice pair of heels and fully enjoying the day. Hope all of you are as well. Have fun!!! sf

  5. My experiences are a lot like those already expressed here, and my "experience" is posted somewhere at this site. The condensed version, I have liked women's shoes since I was a kid (pre teen). Don't know why. As a teen, I began to purchase and wear women's flat sandals, sometimes to the chagrin of my folks. When I went away to school, I was able to wear women's sandals often and loved the freedom. My friends (and gf - who became my wife) really did not care - but some thought I was weird, ha ha. In 1996 I went to Argentina for a trip and was amazed at all the beautiful high heel sandals the gals wore there. Don't know if it was "the grass is greener" syndrome, but I really never noticed heels on the gals here in the U.S. before. When I returned to the U.S. I was shoe shopping - for flats - and saw a pair of slip-on thong slides with a 2 inch kitten type heel. I tried them on, they fit, and I was hooked. I wore them in public and no one seemed to care all that much. Still have those sandals, maybe I will post a pic of them some day. And some of my friends still think I am weird, ha ha.... take care all, sf

  6. mlroseplant, How you?? I like those Sofft sandals, they really look nice. I have had Sofft sandals in the past, thought they were very comfy. For me, I am a denim pants (or cargo) pants and hh sandal guy, no shorts for me, I just don't like them, never have. And yes, those sandals do look like women's shoes, but what the heck, if you like them and they are comfortable, wear them to your hearts desire. I would!! And do!! But with pants.... ha ha.. Take care, sf

  7. Ms Patsy.... Thanks for your comment. For me, a guy who has been heeling in public since 1996, it is a lonely life. Even out here in "progressive" - (whatever that means) California, I have never seen another guy wearing women's shoes. I heel whenever possible, just yesterday I was out in the sandals shown in my avatar. It does take some courage, especially at first, but after a while I just don't think about it much. And occasionally I do get a compliment from BOTH guys and gals. Bottom line, I enjoy wearing heels and gals shoes, a lot - as well as pushing the boundaries - he he. Take care, sf

  8. Aerosoles shoes and sandals are wonderful. Very stylish and comfortable. I have 3 pair. In my area the stores generally carry up to size 11 and can order size 12. Every time I have gone into an Aerosoles store the staff are very friendly and helpful. They could care less that you are a guy who enjoys wearing heels. Visit an Aerosoles store and see for yourself, you will be pleased (hopefully). This season I have had my eye on the Lollipowp and Abracadabra styles, but I have too many heels as it is!!! sf
