  1. Let me start by saying: I very much so value the girls opinions and their unique insight as anyone of them are much more experienced in all aspects of what WE desire in our clothing choices.

From the occasional thread I have seen in the girls section where a guy has posted I can really see why WE are NOT allowed to post there. The comments that make it in before they are erased are more often than not selfish or bordering on rude. (Again this is only the few I have seen I can not say all are like that.)

One has to hope that threads such as this one do not turn our female contributors away for that would be a horrible outcome.

Now to finish: As to telling us a thousand times, I guess some just don't get it, I run into this in my work as well and I know just how tiring it can be.

Our hosts and web administrators do a fantastic job and show us all much patience with our blunders. I assume Tech is still Richie based on his very appropriate avatar and from the number of times he appears and the issues I have seen him handle he has my deepest respect because he puts so much of his time and maybe some of his soul into this site.

To all the administrators Thank-you for your hard and diligent work it is mch appreciated.

  2. Flavio and Bubba say all I would and say it well.

Just look to the brighter side when you can. As for me my family outside of my wife and kids are very similar to your father. So that I can very well understand.

  3. I presume that what Guynheels is trying to say is that IF a same sex couple where to travel to some places in this world and indeed within the US they would not recognize their matrimonial rights. As we all well know some places are very backwards on this sort of thing. People have been killed for being homosexual within the US and we tend to be much more tolerant than countries run under Sharia Law.

I for one can see Smitty's point as well. Would people find discrimination in being asked about their opposite sex partner? I don't know and I am sure we would have many different opinions on that if we allowed this thread to get to that point.

Should a church have sponsored so adamently the pushing of Amendment 8 (I think that's right.)? No, I don't think so. Would I support the right of a homosexual couple to marry? As a conservative most people would find my answer an abomination but YES I would support their choice to be married just as I would any other couple. My own church would read me the riot act but to me God made us all and God doesn't make junk. Every person is made with a value to our creator and every person is a reflection of Her/His image. (Yes I have a different view of God I feel that like me He is androgynous.) I feel that their are a lot of people who are going to start (or have been) spewing a lot of quotes from the Bible and all I can say to them is to look in their own mirror first and clean their own "house" before attacking another. I prefer one quote from the Bible and only one: "Let he who is among you without sin cast the first stone."

Let's be calm and work this out the way it should be by altering the laws where they need to be altered and not by yelling insults at everybody.

P.S. If indeed I have insulted anybody with this it was not my intention.

  4. Glad to hear Mickey is doing better. Working in a retirement home I have seen many people go through by-pass surgery and they all seem to do fairly well. I'm sure Nurse Nightmare will be just fine as Mickey seems to have survived him for many years already. Just don't bite off more than you can handle as well. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.

And I know it is really late but happy birthday!
