I know I'm going to stir up some ire here but here it goes.

Pretty women who let themselves go to pot. They don't take time to clean up or run a brush through their hair and worst is when they wear those awful sweat suits.

The other extreme is anyone who wears spandex without regard as to how anyone else sees them. When you look like a five pound sausage in a one pound casing maybe spandex just isn't for you. If your going to the gym to get into that one pound casing fine but please don't torture the rest of us by doing your shopping like that. To make matters worse when you do see someone dressed like that in the store their cart is usually filled with a coronary waiting to happen.

It is always good when a person takes the time to take pride in themselves, someone who is clean, clean shaven (goes for men and women), dressed nice, and took time with their personal grooming. That sort of person always gets the best attention regardless of weight or personal image because at least they are trying.

My last gripe is people who text and drive.

I now step away from the soap box as I must head off to work.

Ahh...Yesterday's weather, at seven-thirty a.m. I fired up the van to a wonderful 3 F. Been below freezing for most of a week here in St. Louis but the kicker for me is I spent two full days in twenty degree weather fixing an air conditioning system! The high yesterday was only 27 F with the low projected low last night of 22 F (check local cross reference for Celsius as I only know Fahrenheit.)

What happened to global warming? Weren't we supposed to be spending sunny winter holidays in Alaska and Antarctica in a few years?

Hello there and welcome from St. Louis.

As several others have said I too felt my wiring was a bit mixed up, then I found this great bunch. I'm glad I did! I am lucky to have a supporting wife and daughters but the rest of the families don't know.

Not to step on toes here but IF she is running the dreaded Vista or XP for that matter try emptying the cookies out of internet explorer. I know it sounds fishy but when the cookie jar gets full on my wifes computer it does some incredibly weird things. Give it a try before anything drastic as it can't hurt.

Yes it is so, that we guys can not post in the girls section but they can post in ours. That said, it is for good reason as we guys would very easily outstrip any thread put in their section and drive away the remaining female membership. I try not to even enter the girls section so as not to even be tempted to post anything. Although occasionally I will see the title of a thread that will catch my eye as humorous or just curiosity but I feel more like an eavesdropper so I really try to avoid their section.

I think good advice for any of us blokes is to respect their privacy and just avoid the entire section.

Unless you are an off road rider I really can't see a situation where you would catch a heel on the ground. Unless you take a turn at a really high rate of speed but then I think you may have other problems.
