    Thank you for the clear and excellent feedback. I adore this site, and love the fact that the focus is on the FOOTWEAR, not a buncha porn, etc. I adored the links to the Lynch/Louboutin collaboration, for example. I agree that keeping the focus on the shoes makes this a special and welcoming site for all. Thank you for so kindly responding to my concerns. Best to you.

    Allow me to also add that, here @ HHPlace, you will find a very friendly, welcoming bunch of members, a lot of which all know each other personally for many many years.

    Now, picture yourself going to meet a bunch of friends for the first time.

    Think of HHPlace as meeting with good friends. Your opening line really was not acceptable, and certainly was not appreciated, exactly as it would be in any other social situation.

    Mr X Looks like your camera/phone is shooting things in thumbnail mode / super duper low resolution. Look out for the "size/quality/resolution" settings on your camera/phone (Different makes use different terms, so it could be any of those 3)

    Thats actually a pretty good observation. Several years ago when the wife and I starting saving for our house, I put loads of pairs on Ebay too, and I dont remember any of the winning bidders being women, and I must have sold off about 20 pairs in all. I even delivered one pair myself to a guy who didnt live far away, who looked a little worried when he opened the door and I handed him the box. I just smiled and said "Enjoy, there very comfortable" :santa_hat:

    I'd like to add too that what I said wasnt meant as any form of offence at anybody for their choice's, but was simply an observation from an impartial point of view on how I see things from reading every single daily post on this website, and how interesting it is to see people striving for acceptance, yet simultaneously un-aware of how they may be "perceived" by others.

    Look @ how "kneehighs" does things....

    I'd say he has a pretty good "reality check" on his own projected perceptions which gains him global "Normality" for simply being himself while doing something very different :smile:

    While many may all be cool with wearing skirts, discussing permanently high heeled feet, pedal pumping and other such variety, the perception of this "bigger picture" when its all put together is very different... Or is it just me?

    You have an excellent point in that, and if I may offer an opinion here (as I rarely ever do) I'd say that on first appearances 18 months ago this would have been seen as nothing more than a fetish website, toaday however, i would say the lines are now just very blurry.

    I personally think that many members own choice of avatar or the mens leg contest where every guy suddenly appears in skirts for example, may give off the wrong vibes to those looking in from the outside, who dont know each of us and our reasons for such things.

    Just as the fashion world itself, perception is very important is it not?

    Similar in every way to how people cast judgement based on appearances...

    I find it kind of interesting how many many of us here would gladly seek approval or acceptance for wearing something "different" yet many pay none or little regard to how they may be perceived when doing so themselves, yet scorn those who dont accept it or "tolerate it"

    erm... blimey, was I ranting and blabbering again... Sorry.

    I'll shut up now for another 6 months *Goes back to broom cupboard for more admin work* :smile:

    In the general chit chat section of this forum I opened a thread titled "A woman's prerogative to say no". It turned into a war. Why! :wave: How! :silly: Much of the thread has been deleted, what's left doesn't make sense, and it's been locked, stopping any further discussion. That gives cause to a vivid reality and sends a very distinct message.

    While everybody here is entitled to their own opinions and are free to express those opinions (Within common decency rules of course) we have warned you about casting public judgement over the teams moderation.

    If you have a problem with the teams moderation, then discuss this in private without filling up our forum with your accusations and non-stop negativity.

    The only "Vivid reality" here is your constant male bashing and negative accusations.

    Recently there have been a number of posts that have simply disappeared. One of them was a personal attack on me. All traces of it are gone. Now everyone can pretend it didn't happen. :smile:

    Thats right, attacks on members probably will be removed. This isnt "Fight club". Do you have a problem with that?

    It has nothing to do with footwear, every species has a few wrotten eggs that ruin things for the rest. So, I think enough is enough of your endless "male bashing". I know there are many members here who are totally fed up with you turning EVERY discussion into something about womens rights, males in heels are abusive, how women need defending from guys in heels etc....

    You have more than proved you have nothing to contribute to our community other than allegations, accusations and ill thought out (Totally off topic) conversations that really do belong elsewhere (Which you have been warned about many times before)

    So, on that note, I'l gladly bid you farewell (Permanently) and announce that the old ban that we lifted on you (you didnt actually "elect to return", you just had an old permanent ban lifted) shall now be re-instated.

    Then, to allow this conversation to continue properly, I shall delete susans post and any replies to it within a few days to allow all to read it and see just why you have been put back on the "Banned members" list.

    I will be glad to ship a pair of shoes from the us to him. And btw, how do you get those icons to work? I've tried everything. well, not everything apparently. lol

    If you mean the little smilie icons :smile::wave: then you need to use the "advanced message interface" which can be set via your User CP.

    I'd say so. The more a person weigh's, the downward pressure you put on the feet, which if sloped with the toes down, exerts more pressure on the straps, thus the straps dig in more.

    so if she is petite and weigh's not very much then it may not hurt her at all, but put the same shoes on somebody heavier and the results can be very different.

    Plus of course, everybodies pain threshold is different too, and women generally have a higher pain threshold dont they? :smile:

    To require all members both new and old to contibute regularly could easily end up being a fools move.

    Who said anything about us requiring new and old members to contribute regularly? (None of the team have said anything like this?)

    Our aim is just to "encourage" the lurkers to maybe participate, join in, or at least "give it a go"

    Nobody is, or can ever force them, but its always nice to see other new members encouraging others out of the woodwork :smile:
