Hello from a Chicago girl who is temporarily transplanted in Texas. My name is Roana and I have a shoe addiction. I have always loved shoes but in 1994 I had an automobile accident and broke both of my legs. I was told I would never walk again. I spent a good amount of time in a wheelchair and taught myself to walk again. A year later I walked into that doctor's office wearing a pair of 4 inch stilettos to tell him that he had been highly mistaken. Since then I wear heels most of the time because one never knows when fate will strike and I won't be able to wear pretty shoes ever again. Additionally, I am a makeup artist/stylist and some of my clients are the most beautiful ladyboys I have ever met. I am always looking for tips to help them find great shoes and repurpose the ones they already have. I found the forum while looking up some advice for a new pair of shoes I bought and really loved everything I have seen.
