Honesty you don't. Your emotions are what you are and they can't be turned off. It's probably what makes the highs so high since you can only get there on occasion. 

Anyway good outing, I'm not a platform guy but they really work well for you. 

I typically wear 5 inches with no platform. I prefer single sole shoes and boots but not exclusive to them. I  also wear my heels with otherwise "mens" wear. Just love the look and feel. 

Compliments like that are so great when you get them. I expect she truly feels this way and am figuring she has in the past as well. I expect she was just as uncomfortable approaching a stranger, especially a guy, to tell them she likes their shoes/boots. I had one off the cuff comment years ago at a whole sale warehouse while in 5" black basic pumps. She told me she admired them while I was walking around the store and said "i just had to tell you how much I like your shoes". Enjoy the high, you will always think back to it.

Great cut on the boots too. 

Nice. I agree about the heel height, more than not I pretty much don't even buy any under 5 inches any more.

Wow saw your Starbucks pic. Impressive. Nothing like classic pumps WITHOUT platforms.

Take a full body shot next time. Nobody you know will see anything that your Starbucks encounter hasn't already risked.

Just picked these lovely pumps up off ebay. Heels were too high for her - just right for me (5.25"). They are very comfortable shoes. From Signature.

Agreed. Honestly I pretty much stick 4.5 to 5.25 inch nonplatforms now. I like to know I'm wearing heels and I love the feel of these heights. Those are nice. 

Where did you get those. Very good looking shoes.

Nobody take this the wrong way but larger sizes typically happen more often if there is a higher percentage of African America women living in that region. For whatever reason African America women seem to have larger feet than Caucasian women. 

Inedible music piece. The fact she is wearing the nice heels is not very relevant though. They may even make the foot pedals easier to manipulate. Not that this statement is anything even near what she does with the piano, I find doing repetitive for movements over a period of time where I need to control something with my toes is actually much easier pivoting on high heels is than my unsupported heels. This is really evident driving a vehicle with either manual or automatic transmissions. 

All the time. My neighbors think I am crazy my wife expects it now. If I  am not in heels she wonders what's wrong. That's a good thing. Drove from Winston Salem to key largo with a pair of my 1969 pumps on. Stopped in Savanah for one night, the hotel guys and a family were eyeing and under breath gigging but I didn't care and surprisingly neither did my wife which is a major step forward.
