Has anyone seen a 5" single sole stiletto with steel toes?  I can't seem to find them!!!

I have a pair from FSJ. Should bring them in. Have mentioned to these guys I have "SAFETY" stilettos. Next week I'll try to remember. Should go over well I think.

  2. Me at work. Not sure why it's so uncomfortable posing. Never feels normal.  Anyway, my neighbor coworker is not in yet but this would be his pov.

Could never ask him to take a pic.

I'm in the information technology industry so no security restrictions.

It's not security as much as safety. The brown shoes in the photo are steel toed safety shoes.

I'll switch to boots in the autumn.

Keep heeling my friend. My shoes have been used with good humor by me putting coworkers initially at ease. Have not been a butt of any I'll humor and my respect within the building is as high as ever.

  4. So good. I've done the same thing now. Been wearing openly at work for nearly a year now. Have been no issues at all. My basic work attire now is, high end polo shirt, pants and 5 inch stiletto pumps. Classic pumps and mary janes mostly. No sandals or open toes. I keep 4 pair at my desk. Since it's a factory I'm limited to office only just like anyone else.

Same for me. The ball skin hurts after a few hours. Or a few miles walk. Depending on the material of the socks it could make a big difference. Long distance bare foot is a no way for me

    Can't wear socks in sandals.

I don't wear open toed sandals due to my toe nails. At 59, they just haven't held up.

  6. That's quite the record you have. I have no clue what I've worn or when. After a few days, the memory fades and I've never jotted down my choices. I know which are my favorites and seem to rotate amongst them most.

Sounds to me like Söfft has become your favorite brand based on comfort.

I don't get the sandal seam placement. Seems if the could move just a bit forward would help. Realize they need the tip to be rounded into the sole unlike pumps for better structural protection, but seam is in a bad place.

This used to happen to me all the time. I did not react as well as you did, usually I whipped out my own phone and pretended to take pictures of whoever had their phone out at me. However, times have changed, and I have changed. I haven't noticed anybody trying to record my image in a long time. It probably still happens, but not like it did 5-10 years ago. Maybe I just walk better now?

Being more comfortable in your heels reduces your own alertness. I used to know all around me but as I have become more comfortable I have become less aware of my surroundings. My guess, people are still taking pictures, you're just not on to them. For me that's fine. I know I'm the odd character, even most women don't wear the heels I sport and not nearly as frequently.

I so agree. Those heels are so lovely and classic. I'm never sure I should be posting as a Tgirl in the guys section. I love to be out in high heels but I never had the courage to wear them in guy mode. But I have the greatest admiration for those that do.

I do it all the time, never an issue even empowered to some degree.

  9. Bow legged is natural, not much you can do about it. I'm the same. In my case its my left leg that wears heels faster. Eventually after enough heel tap replacements my shoe itself won't stand up as the heel will be twisted outward at the top, i.e. the heel tip is inside of center. Once that happens I consider the shoes to be worn out. Takes a lot of wear so it just is.
