To be honest, at the moment I haven't had any (that I have noticed) bad comments or heckling, it will happen, I know it will, but for now my confidence is growing slowly to the point where I wore metallic bronze victorian style 4" heels to the Empire Cinema in birmingham tonight and I thought being a bit more bright than just plain black that they would have sparked some comments etc. Nothing... I will be reading this thread with interest as I know one day my luck will change... These are the heels I wore...

Sorry to go against the grain, but I think the black shoes are much nicer. Not quite as 'out there' and makes you look more delicate. I wouldnt hesitate going out if I could look as good as that. You look stunning... Andi

Obviously a ladies style, based on a traditional Mens style, but I would wear them in public and enjoy doing so. I think if the heels were a little lower they would be a great crossover shoe and 'IF' society could accept that then great but alas we will just have to chip away one shoe at a time to get accepted.... Same as a few questions ago, available in a 14?
