  1. You can add all five of those terms to the description of me!

I cross dress, right down to fake breasts and hip padding. I have considered gay relationships, but never acted on it. I have thought about transitioning, but just a thought,as I don't see it ever happening. I have felt like I am straddling the fence between male and female ever since I was a young child. I started dressing around five years old. I love presenting as a woman. For some reason it is very comforting to me to dress. fortunately for me I have a very accepting wife and spend many evenings dressed. Often I just want to say the heck with it and dress 24/7/365, but I realize it would be a huge shock for friends and family and it would turn my and my wife' world upside down so I keep it under wraps at home.

I read an article from a legit source on this a few years ago. The article explained there is much more to male or female than the X and Y chromosomes. Just like you can be a man at 5'5" and 125 pounds, or 6'6" and 250 pounds, or be a tiny woman or some big hulk of a woman. The X and Y is just the start of it. There is more genetic material that "creates" the male or female us. It isn't a simple "line in the sand".

On the other hand I feel for the confused people that have to deal with it. I feel confused about my gender every day. I have come to accept I am male, but have some female floating around inside of me. Many people have it much worse than me.

  2. I ran across an eBay auction that I couldn't believe. A brand new pair of Jessica Simpson Dany Autumn heels, for a starting bid of $10. I put in a offer and I don't think anyone bid on them. I was surprised as Danys go for $75 and up. I think one reason they went unnoticed is the seller did not list them as Dany heels, just Jessica Simpson heels. Great heels, comfortable, the fabric, well, the whole shoe is a bit on the silly side. I love them!

    Do these work for you?

     Thanks,

I forgot about the Pleaser boots. I don't like the price, but I know Pleaser will fit my feet comfortably.

I never saw the Onlymakers before, but for some reason I can not wear them. They just don't fit my feet. Although i like the look of them better.

There are these, however, which appear to have been made under the 'Timbaland' [note spelling] label; 13.5cm heel and 3cm platform.

Just the job for Mike to wear for a stroll in the country.

I have been looking for a pair of boots just like these. Anyone have any idea where I can find them?

Shoe size us not necessarily relevant as the better quality shoes and boots have heel heights that are scaled to the size to keep the shape and proportions consistent. The standard heel height - eg 4” - for a particular model will be set for, say, a size 7 and then scaled up or down according to size, but sold as a 4” heel.

Plus she was complaining about everything over 2 inches!🤣

But then she describes 10cm heels as virtually unwearable in real life, 8cm as challenging and 6cm as not too dangerous a height. If she is genuinely struggling in 6cm heels, as she implies, she must be an absolute prize klutz.

WOW! The great majority of my heels are 4" or 10 cm. I have a few 3" or 8 cm. I also have a couple pair of 5" or 12.5 cm that I struggle with. Now I will admit I would not want to walk very far in 4" heels, I certainly would not go shopping in them, but I see no issues hopping a cab or Uber and getting dropped of near the door of my destination. 3" I believe I could wear for an extended time. I do have a pair of block heel boots that are around 3 1/2"  that I have worn while shopping. Stilettos would be a bit more to endure. 2"?? All day long baby! Regular every day height in boots.

I have to wonder about the author. Did she wear nothing but flats for the last few years? If yes, I would say there are very few people that could dive into a pair of 3" heels and wear them for an extended time comfortably after a long hiatus. 4" would be a big no, but buy a pair, wear them around the home, get the muscles and tendons stretched out again.

My first stiletto heels were 3". I thought the calf muscles in my legs were going to explode! I got used to them then bought 4" heels, same deal, calf muscles cramped up and got very sore in a few minutes. Today I wear 4" around the home all day with no issues.

  7. I don't feel he said anything wrong. Some people feel if you are not for them you are against them, there is no neutral ground. I think the interviewer was assuming he was all in and supported the LGBT community, where it seems he is fairly neutral about it.

I understood his point of gays making his situation tougher, I fail to see how that was taken as negative, he was simply stating his situation. How many of us get the same response? Wearing heels? Certainly you are gay! Hetro men do not wear heels!

  8. I few times I have left wearing heels. I normally don't go out, but once in a while my wife and I just got for a drive and we get dressed up a bit and I wear spike heel boots of pumps. We have a detached garage and the neighbors house is right next to our driveway so no missing me walking out if they happen to be looking. If they have noticed, nothing has been said as we do visit with them a few times a month so it is not like the chance never comes up.

  9. I posted a full body pic in a dress with fake breasts, it got the axe. Others here have posted pics wearing skirts that did not get the axe. I am not sure where the line is, perhaps men wearing skirts and no boobs is ok, but boobs get the axe?

Men post pics of heels with stockings and pantyhose al the time.

    It is confusing!

Jeez, you are nice and slim.  Don't mind admitting I am envious, but I'm sure maintaining a nice lean figure is the result of exercise and good diet.  So, you have a 29" waist and wear 710s size 29?  I don't have thick legs (kinda wish I did, but need to be careful what I wish for), or narrow hips, so I'm thinking that 33 or 34" 710s will probably fit..

Yep, men's 29" waist, and size 29 in the 710's.

Like I said earlier, measure your hips and buy by hip size.

I see plenty of 710s on ebay.  Any advice on the sizing, I see they have conventional waist sizes posted.  Do these waist sizes correspond to guys' waist sizes, or do you need to size up/down from the women's waist sizes posted?

I size them by hip size, although my waist is pretty close too. They ride right above the hips  so IMO waist measurement is senseless. They fit snug almost to the ankles. The ankles have a bit of room and I am glad they do or I would never get them off!

    I buy Levi's 710 jeans on Amazon.

    Amazon Levis 710

LOL.  Can't get those 710 over my calves.

If you have thick legs and narrow hips you probably will not get them on!

I am fairly slim. I buy a size 7 or 29 and wear a 29" waist in men's jeans. My legs are not very thick. When I buy women's thigh or knee boots they often fit loose. It is tough to wear a size 10 women's boot when they size the leg for the typical woman with a size 10 foot.

Yeah, c'mon man. What the actual?

Seriously, I think I know how this happened. It's the same process by which guys wind up accidentally posting in the girls' thread. We'll forgive you--this time. 😆

Well, crap, I thought I was in the "new shoes" thread!

    Getting old is a bitch!

Interesting.  .  . my 83 year old dad (at the time 73 year old dad) was the first to encourage me, he had to convince my mom to get on board later on. Neither of them have managed to convince my wife that I'm actually ok.

Both my mom and dad are old school conservatives. I had a conversation about men wearing women's clothing with my mom. Some show with men cross dressing on TV triggered it. I thought she was going to explode! Nothing but hate and vile coming out of her mouth. I mentioned I didn't care what people wear and if a man wanted to wear high heels or a dress I could care less. All I got back was a death stare!

My dad is equally closed on the subject. Any mention of alternate lifestyles and he just gets mean. I mentioned to him I knew a couple gays and I can not repeat what he said! If I wore heels around him I think it would end up in a hospital ER!

    Hello.

It is no longer on the web. I bought them, new, but on an european second-hand site.

They have a square toe, so I change the typical cowboy toe.

    They caught my attention.

Ok, thanks. The square toe kills it for me! I would buy a pair with a pointed toe.

Unless you have very small feet, EU41 or smaller, nothing of interest there. Another store which has yet to discover that people exist with larger feet then just EU41.

Well, I imagine that 95% of shoe sales are size 41'ish and lower. It does suck to be a person with larger flippers. I am a nice size ten, or 40-41 depending on the manufacturer.

Tried to do a little shoe shopping today.  Is there any truth to the rumor that DSW is changing their name to Designer SNEAKER Warehouse?  Row upon row of sneakers.  So sad.

Yes, it is terrible! They did the change last summer some time. I was about sick when I saw the high heels were maybe on row and sneakers have taken over the store. for what ever it was worth, (probably nothing!), I wrote an e-mail to DSW and told them I was very disappointed. I told them I could buy sports shoes in any store, everyone carried them, but DSW had been my go to for high heels. They had been filling a niche that nobody in our area filled.

I suppose they are trying to stay in business and high heels don't sell as fast as sneaker.

Thank you but there's no skill involved. Just takes a little time and practice.

I don't know about skill, but like I mentioned earlier in the thread, my ankles will just not flex far enough! I can slip on the 5" heels, try to walk in them and I can barely lock my knees straight. The muscles in my legs don't seem to care as I don't have sore muscles while or after wearing them. Pretty sure I have simply reached the end of the range of motion in my ankles. But I do continue to wear them in hopes something changes!
