If you're looking for straps that aren't around the ankle, a mary jane style would do well for you, although they aren't always easy to find without a metal spiked heel and a lot of fancy aspects.
Leatherworks in the UK has some nice variations on this, at least to get an idea of the style. That's where the nice pair in my avatar icon came from.

I have only 15 messages to go to get to 2500, and I am sure I can comment on enough threads to get there today.
So off I go, I suppose. Monumental numbers everywhere. This site truly is breaking ground, making monuments, and becoming something important to the high heeled community on the net.
May we continue on for a very, very long time. -
And two months later, we're at 1000.
I am sure we'll have some sort of official thread for that. But interesting how this happens. August 20th, October 20th. Hrm. -
Correct, and you get the prize of asking the next question.

Welcome, Olderdude, and I am glad to hear the fires did not burn get your home! On the other side of the mountains here, we had a lot of news footage on the fires, and interviews with people who were caught up in the middle of it. I admit, it look horrible, especially seeing some homes that were nothing more than ashes. Did any of that heavy rain reach you?

In my experience, a girl is to suffer, having to pick one pair, but wishing to buy like, oh, ten. Such is a girl's life, I suppose...

Girls need to think more like Olympians if they'd like to keep up with fashions. Get the right equipment, train, and then when they are out and about, they're competing and showing what they worked hard to acomplish. It's a nice theory, anyway.

Can't someone else do it? Heeheehee
If I win millions of dollars in a Canadian lottery, I'll be sure to order up something and tell everyone how it went. -

Leatherworks. They have a nice five and a half inch stiletto heel, and the metal spike actually unscrews. They're very comfortable, being real leather. They were a gift, and I think they're great.

That sounds awful! We'll need to do something about that! I hope everything is running fine after using the spyware. But thank you for the notice about Brigitte's Mules, that's one less thing we have to investigate!
Hey, no one said this would be easy! -

Give it some time, there will be more.
It's written, just sitting there, but... since it takes place far in advance, and I was inspired to write it at that point, it may not show up if I write in a chronological fashion.
Hrm...
So many ideas, and no one paying for my time. Darn!

I think Fox and I are going to have a links section, although I think it is going to be part of the paid section once Jenny's site is going again. The idea is to find the best stuff on the web for heels and the like, and review it, so people, much like HHDS, do not have to run around and find things. However, that is not here yet, so...

It's about time people started figuring that out!
Heehee
Thanks Dan! -
I do like it, and thank you.
The first one it is, then.
But what else might people like to see out of me and pictures? -
I can make tea, but the cost of importing me might be a bit higher than any company can afford.
besides, I prefer mint tea. -
She looks 15 or 16. Thin, legs that would make a good model, she could have a career in something.

Thank you, BW. What is on the site now may be the same as what I posted below. It all depends on when you copied from it for the story that was there. I changed it because I had not edited what I sent to Fox, and later regreted it. I like that you can get a feel for the characters emotions. We all have them, they drive us, and that's important. Being too technical about the details can ruin things. One has to use actions to create personality, not just tell what happened. It's exciting for me, and I do hope I can make a career out of this, and not just a hobby. Just call me the idea factory

Hi! This is me, wearing a green silky robe, black leather 5.5 inch stiletto heels (a prize you could win if you donate to Jenny's site!) and nothing else.
I am featuring two cropped pictures, and I would like some advice on which one looks better.

I will leave it to you as to which you prefer, and if you even like the outfit at all!
yes, I am trying to get feedback, since I am only taking the pictures for all of you, and I'd like to know what you think, and what you'd like to see!

The character is a thief, and the room in general is cold, so everything would be cold. But it isn't ceramic, it's a metal. The character does not know this. He's disoriented, not able to think, because he has been drugged. The character of Katrina is the same as the one mentioned in the other story that was posted for a time on my Laurie's Lair preview site. However, I thought this had a bit more suspense in it, a bit more wonder, in that people might see this and ask what was going on. What is posted below takes place many, many years after the first bit of story. There is more to what I have written below, but Crystaline Stars is certainly not finished, not even close. If and when I start up the serial, it will begin with what used to be on my preview page, with much editing done to the story.

We have an upload site! You can go to http://65.160.96.70/hhplace/ and it will let you upload a picture, and then offer you the url for said picture.
it browses right off of your hard drive and everything.
Then you can go to your profile and add your avatar link there!
easy peasy

Welcome, Daisuki, it's nice that you gave us such a good introduction. Your ideal woman is dressed very well, but I get the feeling that her head is too big for her body. meaning she needs to eat something.
heehee -
Thank you, everyone. I tend to agree that my legs are one of my best features. And despite the times that I get down on myself, and feel I am not attractive, the responses to my posting of that picture and others helps me to realize that I should be proud of my looks, and certainly share them when I can. I have a lot of pictures of this outfit, and I may post a few more as time goes on.

What happens when the trend is over?

I am going to tr a theory here and suggest that the groung dragging pants are born out of guilt. Are women ashamed of their shoes and boots? This would be the only reason to cover them up. I mean, why spend all of that money on a nice pair of pumps, only to cover them? it is like having a painting by, oh, Van Gogh, and always covering it with a sheet. So did the trend start when women were embarrassed by their shabby footwear, and trying to hide the ugly, flat excuses for footwear, or did it arise when women were wearing heels a lot, but didn't wish to be seen as too tarty, because of the stupid stereotype of heels and women in bars, or on street corners... Or is it just the designers' lazy way of making pants that no one ever has to hem? Just make everything really long, and continue the war against the poor tailors who have attempted to alter the creations of fashion designers for years?
