Bravo to you, Mike! I'm sure that must have been quite the exciting experience for you!

Pumps: Here's what I wore that day:

That was a size 16, the largest size for that dress, and it was still snug in the chest area, so yeah, I know what you mean. I don't know how big you are, I can only suggest that perhaps trying something from the Women's section instead of the Misses as those sizes are larger.

Chris: Your idea of a sweater dress with knee boots is just the sort of idea I have in mind and would work well at this time of year. As for showing off my legs, it's a funny thing, I won't go beyond my front porch in men's shorts but think nothing of going far and wide in a skirt! Go figure! HA!

WNH: Thanks! I'm glad to be back too. By outings, I'm talking about my little trips in heels (and now skirts) on weekends. And no, I haven't worn skirts to work. Don't think my employer would go for that, but it's no big deal.

Spiker: Thanks for the encouragement. I'll continue to do my very best!
Bubba136: While denim skirts, especially long skirts are perfectly suitable for chilly weather, wool and leggings are pretty good ideas indeed. Thanks for the suggestion!

Quite Mouse: Thanks for the compliment.
johnny: Thanks for the kind words. How do I get up the nerve? To be honest, I'm not entirely sure, but I just go and do it. As for reactions, ninety-nine percent of the time, I don't get any, haven't gone in a store skirted to buy a skirt, but I might give that a try. Heh!

Johnny: Thanks for the comment. Shorter skirts do indeed flatter me. And who doesn't love being flattered! Heh!

RonDup: It takes courage, nerve, balls, use your favorite term to do what we do, and do it with boldness and confidence, whether it's just wearing your favorite pair of shoes, or heels and a skirt like I often do. In the end, it's all about going YOUR own way, not society's.

Thanks, everyone for your kind words. I appreciate your comments!

RonDup: Your attitude is the right one to have when it comes to wearing clothing society decides that only one gender and not the other can wear. It's YOUR clothing, not female clothing! Labels are terribly restrictive, not to mention nonsensical. And yes, wearing what you want, not what society wants is very liberating!

lorriette: Thanks for your comments. Yeah, women's wear is very addictive!

Thanks, Pumps! I thought that dress had looked good me, and I found that to have been a pleasant surprise. Heh!
