To say the least. I would have been totaly thrilled to the gills if my wife asked to borrow a pair of my heels to wear out and wouldn't have given a hoot about a few scuffs or scrapes. But she wears a size smaller and has many of her own anyway.

Right now my 5" tripple strap mj's.

Sorry, I am being serious. Like when I am stiltwalking, my ambition is to able to successfully go either on stilts or on very high heels where I can comfortably go in sneakers. That includes all things slippery or difficult.

I was just wondering if there was anyone else out there with similar ambitions, or am I unique?

Has anybody ever requested that you wear your heels to any occasion?

My wife and I have been invited by her nephew and SO to a coed baby shower on the 2nd of Nov and her sister, the So, her lady friend and nephew have requested I wear the boots in my avatar, or any 4-5" heel boots. They think it's really cool that I am not afraid to be myself and like to see me or any other man in heels. I'm not sure how many people are going to be there but I am sure it's going to be fun. I will take pics and give details of how it went.

BAD news. Looks as though it's been called off. It's being held at a cousins house and she seems to have a problem with individuality. O well.

Not having had any heels for several years, I am about to purchase a new pair. I am thinking about a pair of red peep-toe sling-back sandals with 7 inch stilettoe heels and 2.5 inch plats. I will be taking them where heels should not go - such is my interest. I will attempt to use them on roller skates, peg stilts and will attempt to walk them over smooth rounded rocks on river beds and the beach. I will film my attempts and put them on YouTube for you all to comment on.

It will take a couple of months to get going, so watch this space!!!

Om, I don't get it. Wouldn't it be more fun to attempt jumping the grand canyon on a jet powered skateboard?

Interesting subject. I have had dreams all my life of high heels. Until just a few years ago when I decided to come out and just be my self I always tried to hide my heels from other people in my dreams and seemed to wake up before I was embarrassed by others. Now it's different. Funny how the mind works. I wear my heels proudly in my dreams and no one notices.

After reading the artical "why we love the shoes that hurt us" I'm wearing my 5" no platform strappy mary janes.

Im strait myself. I just don't understand why if men wear heels or skirt's people through out the gay label. Just don't get it!

The way I see it is that the WW2 generation, my (father's), set standards and rules of how we HAD to act and what we HAD to wear to be a man or woman and that has been drilled so deep into societies brains that OUR generation has handed it down to our kids and grandkids.

Now it's up to us to get it back again.

Hi, first of all I apologize for my absence. Been very busy in the shop and at my real job, which is a good thing. Now to answer the question; YES but the relationship only lasted 5 months. She was the only one in my whole dating career in 20 years that believed that there are certain things for men and certain things for women and for men it did not include heels. Other than that, every woman I ever dated and all 3 wife's had absolutely NO problem with it at all and even enjoyed it with me. BTW, My wife and I are invited to a cooed baby shower by her nephew, and her sister called to inform me that it has been requested by the nephew, his SO and her friend, along with her sister that I wear my 5" stacked heel Colin Stuart knee high boots in my avatar. How's that for acceptance? They all think it's the coolest thing that I am not afraid to be myself.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but do to work, Ruth and I will not be able to attend the Oct 10th heel meet in Canton. I will let everybody know if this changes.

My favorite place to wear them is Home Depot and Pep Boy. These places are full of macho contractor types and macho motor-heads. It is really amusing watching them sneak looks at my shoes or just try to completely ignore them. I wonder how many of them would secretly like to wear high heels.

Way to go dude! I too am a fan of going into the Big Male Macho construction, biker , tough guy places wearing heels. Just because I hate that attitude! I really enjoy watching that tough guy watch me and wander what is really going on inside his head.

My first pair were a pair of red high heel pumps that my Mom gave me to play with when I was 3 or 4. As for my first pair as an adult, I was 21, married and my first wife surprised me with a pair of mary jane stilettos.

Basic name brands like via spiga, steve madden, guess, mudd, collin stuart, etc etc. Pretty much what catches my eye and I feel comftorable wearing out under my jeans.

I wear 4" on a gegular basis all day and night. The 5" Steve Madden 3 strap NO platforms, I just got a couple weeks ago, I can wear around the house all day and thats going up and down steps and getting better at it all the time.
