I apologise for not being able to attend. I was looking forward to joining you, and there was a few people i wished to meet for the first time, but there will be other time. Unfortunately i split with Jade last night which has hit me hard... dont really feel up for anything at the moment........
-
its about a 5 hour drive, so to arrive before the meeting time im setting off pretty early. I plan to get to Heelfans before he sets off walking with Firefox to the meeting place. daz
-
dont be so quick to knock me off the list count me in. Ill have to drive thru the night, but bringing the car will give me plenty of shoe storage space
-
i have more shoes than jade. i have more female style shoes than my normal mens shoes too

-
good stuff youngwolf. Ive seen goth people in rotherham, wearing similar platforms and noone says anything or even notices it as unusual so i didnt expect you to have aby trouble. enjoy them more daz
-
still cant figure how those designers can justify the price tag
-
i do too chri, but the thin straps are rather attractive. thick ones look ugly as hell

my mum only ever wore about 3 or 3.5in heels, and i used to try them on when i was small and in her sz4 shoes this felt high. Growing older i learned of higher heels and i just dont seem to be happy in heels unless they are above 4in,. 4.5 is my fav height, as it is high, but comfortable over longer periods still. As i like this height, most of my collection is 4'+ and i find the 2in shoes i have v boring, so i would agree on this topic
-
high enough

-
love the pictured shoes,. wish people at my work would wear them

-
yes i thought they were pretty high really

lol. normally scotty i would agree. however it was a bit daft. the police blocked a road off for about an hour, leaving about 100 miles of queuing traffic at a standstill. these all ended up getting out of their cars and standing by the side of the road, along with the other sad people who turned up and waited for an hour to cheer at about 15 bikes that took all of 5 seconds to pass.....rather pointless. As for the walk. It was chris's first time to do a big step out, and it wasnt as quiet as we had planned. Sods law that a carefully planned trip to a quiet spot happens to be the route for The Great British Bike Tour! Nevertheless we had an interesting conversation, and we wouldve gone for our planned walk after the crowds had buggered off, but the time had quickly passed and before we knew it ws 4.30 and i had to make a move for a workman coming to our house. (maybe if chris had not got lost on the way......
... we might have had a little more time
Chris, you need to buy a good map mate
)
Chris doesnt live that far from me, so there will be other times. We just work dodgy hours so finding time when were both free has proved awkward several times before. We had a good laugh anyway, so it wasnt a journey wasted

I asked Jade and a couple of her friends this one, and they seem to think if someone came upto you cant just said 'excuse me, would you mind telling me where you got your shoes. Theyre fantastic.' etc they wouldnt see that causing a problem. I can see peoples suspicion if you approach them in a wierd way though
Could make someone v nervous. -
agreement here too. I mean societies rules, and why. thats what im ranting about. Doesnt mean it will stop me

-
i like them. Yellow pumps look very bold, and i remember the beyonce video where she wore some yellow boots with a high wooden heel. also very sexy

Dr Shoe. that script is fantastic Very funny,

Its that question that would leave my head spinning with the question 'is she been sarcastic or serious' but id have probably bottled i too.
daft what a bit of fear can do when it comes to it. We should just think balls to it and do what we want. -
good point Bubba
But just who is in charge. These items have swapped between genders for hundreds of years.
It boils down to somebody saying, men wear this, and women wear that. But whats increasingly annoying is that women can wear either, and men can just wear 'mens' I was in London recently and saw numerous shops, Shellys Dorothy Perkins etc all selling the latest trend for women, Cowboy Boots.
Now corret me if im wrong buy surely the cowBOY would be enough to indicate that these are MENS fashion or MENS clothes. Oh i forgot, women can wear anything cant they.
-
i know that. its the principle in everyones eyes im trying to debate. the rights arent equal. who says men would look bad in a skirt or heels. Its just down to what people are used to seeing so they assume it doesnt fit daz
-
its daft. Our bank handbook tells everyone to wear 'sensible shoes' for health and safety, yet in the summer, girls can choose from boots, stiletto courts, sandals, mules, flip flops. Also they can wear a short skirt to keep cooler and trousers if it rains What can the men wear? Shirt tie trousers shoes. No altenate choice! Equal Rights?? I think Not - Womens rights more like
-
how wonderfully exotic

-
it doesnt give much explanation as to the structure of the new technology, or explaining HOW they managed to centre gravity with a heel.
