  1. i can run in heels. i think its a little like walkin in the respect that some people depending on size/flexibility are more suited to the situation than others. we are all different. I as a man am fairly slender and underweight, and therefore would be fair to say i would be physically more stable/less stress on the bodyworks than a heavier woman in heels would be. etc daz

  2. i agree. on previous heelmeets (one occasion on the magnus shop springs to mind) a lady approached us appearing at first to be thinking it was a little strange, but took enormous interest when we explained that we werent a fetish group, rather ordinary ppl with a love for heels. she was impressed and offered alternate shopping suggestions

  3. hi jeff interesting story with perceptions funny enough i started seeing a new gf and weve been together 2 months now. ive not mentioned the heels to her yet ( i know general opinion is to mention asap) but we recently went out clubbing n she was jokin about her feet killing when we were walking home afterwards (she has on some 3.5in sandals) so i joked that she could wear my shoes cos they were comfy. so jokinly she said well u wear mine then....... so i did. lol. sh ewas quite amazed at how easy i could walk in them and commented that 'most lads wouldnt be able to do it' Im sure she thinks i did it for the laugh but she wasnt negative and it is a start  daz

  4. I often found this topic very interesting and enjoyed the stories, i also find it erotic to be 'locked' into heels and have used it on myself from time to time. Often when i have been out a day out, i have gone determined to wear heels, but chickening out at last min. My ex gf suggested an aid to prevent me chickening out and swapping back to my trainers again. We would lock heels on while out and well away from the car, but leave the key in the car, so i would have to walk at least that far in my heels without choice. It aided my chickening out for wearing my heels, and was lots of fun in an erotic way at the same time :P wild ideas eh daz

  5. Im no outside 'veteran' but from experience, as you say very little people in London actually notice, and the ones who do dont seem to care either. Its a fantastic place to go for a heely day out in comfort, and as bubba says, shopworkers have seen it all before in much more outrageous forms. Ive worn obviously pointy loud shoes places and got funny looks, the same pair in london hardly got spotted at all. So if like me your often a little shy London is an ideal place to get away n streetheel in peace. I must say that it was excellent when i had the support of my ex partner Jade who unfortunatley isnt with me anymore... but thats another story. Hence my heeling outings have decreased somewhat significantly since. Having your partner with u is a big confidence boost. daz

  6. nikki glad to see you worked up your courage to venture out in the higher heels as we discussed when we met in London. well done. As ive always said, if youve got a girl on your arm when wearing heels, it creates to images in your favour to the onlooker. 1) rules out the gay thought cos your with a girl. 2) looks as if it cant be so bad or unusual as your gf doesnt mind one bit works wonders daz

  7. I can see the point attempted, ad maybe it does contain some unknown truth. Personally i wear them cos i enjoy how they look & feel, and wouldnt say i feel more feminine to wear them. Irrespective of topic discussed, looking back a few years when heels were mens fashion, the xx/xy point wouldnt have been relevant. heels themselves arent feminine or masculine. They are labelled that way by fashion society. my two cents anyway daz

  8. i think its a debatable topic. the angle of wear could be down to the leg, or maybe the surface you are walking on. and once the tip gets a little wear to one side, any further weight on the heel tip would encourage more wear to that side. my tips tend to wear a little on the outers too, however my walk and ankle position tends o be visibly straight, therefore i have put the wear on my heels to the other factors. daz

  9. i agree. my mum used to use a proper cobbler nd i remember the quality almost rounded heeltips. I had my boots reheeled metal at the 'speedy shoe repair' shop and i got a lump of ugly looking metal welded to the bottom :) still noisy though!

  10. from what i notice of women and girls who i have raised the topic with, heels are an accessory that are available and part of a womans standard clothing, and its easy for them to take this for granted. As it is a normal part of 'female' life, it maybe isnt such a big deal to discuss. whereas the majoity of heelwearing men on here would probably agree. here is a community of people mostly male sharing a common interest, and sharing experiences based upon a preference to wearing an item of clothing marketed and manufactured as an item only for females. The people here range from looking for courage to wear their heels to veterans sharing the many stories of heel ventures, and therefore we have maybe many more topics and questions to talk about re heels than maybe our female members here can find. just my thoughts and 2 cents daz
