I don't currently have anything *that* open, but I've always loved that style. They are sort of like the shoe equivalent of wearing a plunging-to-there top or super daring short skirt or other outfit. Beautifully bare and very feminine, IMO.

I couldn't vote because this is an old thread and the poll was already closed but I have two pairs, three if you count another pair that looks more like a shoe than a boot. I like them.

I'm not sure...I can't remember ever NOT liking them! I think my goal in life was to get myself into them as soon as humanly possible though, haha. I would always admire older women/girls in them and looked forward to when I'd be able to wear them. I got my first pair of strappy low chunky heeled sandals when I was about 10. They were red and I thought I was just sooooooooo cool. hahaha I ran into someone who was in my class while I was out with my family and felt all sophisticated. Not long after that I became obsessed with wanting the old school Candie's mules (this was the early 80's) and was determined to have a pair of the sky high skinny heeled ones. It just grew from there.

Just signed up yesterday. I'm a lover of beautiful shoes and boots, both on myself and on others and anything to do with pampering my feet. Heels have always felt very natural to me to wear as I have high arches and insteps. Even though I am very conscious about my health and wellbeing, I have to admit that there are few things that make me feel as lovely as being in a fantastic pair of high heels. Nice to meet you all.
