To be honest I did not know what being gay or bi was until way after I was married, married in 1972 divorced in 1983, present girlfriend 1984 and still together (should have gone to specsavers).

Must admit if I have to drive a long way, say two hundred miles or so, I always take my shoes off and just drive in my socks, never had any problems and it makes driving so much less tireing, could not drive long distances wearing heels. The throttle is harder to push down in heels, your feet feel as if they are at the wrong angle. Never had to do an emergency stop, so can't commet on that. (apart from my driving test).

Sorry wish I could help, but never ever had a head ache and drink a fare bit, never been to the doctors for 47 years, only advice I can give is leave well alone, things will sort themselves out, not always true but works for me. Have you changed anything recently ?.

I think if I was in that age group, I would wear heels all of the time. In this day and age younger people can carry off loads of styles and get away with it. Nobody appears to give a dam what you do if you are of the younger generation. Wish I was 18 again. People are far more forgiving today than when I was 18 (1969).

I think you should start with a pair of black ankle boots with a 2-3 inch heel, let people be aware and see what you like to wear, after a little time switch to 4 inch heels. I would wait quite some time before trying to wear a nice pair of sandals to college, I think it would be a bit in your face if you started with the sandals at the begging and open to abuse. Thats my thoughts on the subject. But at the end of the day play it bye ear. Good luck to you.

When I did my motor bike test it was raining, a guy came out with a newspaper over his head and said go up the road and back again, after a few minutes he said you will do and that was that, test passed, try doing that today. Car test was a little bit differant first time went to the test center on my own, in them days it was hand signals, hand out of the window for a turn right signal and changing down third to second, no hands on the wheel, well I had been driving for six months on my own and got a lot of bad habits. Second time I took me mum with me she can't drive but they did no know that and nobody asked. But I passed second time, nearly smashed the car up on the way home because I was so happy. Went into a bend to fast. Car was a 1959 Standard Ten Estate car had a 948cc engine, after a bit of time ended up with a Triumph Spitfire 1500cc lump, and that leads to loads of other car and mod stories. But I wont bore you now.

Passed mine in 1968, would not like to do a modern test. Last bike was a Triumph 500 twin T100SS. I think the last bike I rode was a Suzuki 750 triple two stroke, nearly pulled my arms out of their sockets. Anyway well done and enjoy the bikes.

Nice clear blue sky over Basingstoke, no vapour trails, no nothing, normally the sky is full of aeroplanes, have not seen one all day, makes a nice change.
