  2. Not a great lover of speed on a bike yes, car not really trusty Land Rover will just about do 100mph downhill with a good tailwind on a good day. Girlfriends car different matter I am told it's top speed is 165 never tried to do it, one thing I have learnt is ladies and ultra low profile tyres do not mix, just had another 3 for the mot test. Few months ago late at night we were doing approx. 120 on the Birmingham ring road and was passed by a Morris 1000.

  3. How on gods earth can wearing heels be expensive. I think you will get 100% support from anybody on this forum about wearing heels and anything else for that matter. My 5 pennith worth is take things long and slow and you will find things will turn out as you wanted in the end. I know been there done that in all forms of forcing myself to wear heels, it's taken me forty odd years to be happy in what I do, and this site has been very helpful in the last ten or so years, so don't give up think about what you want and plan carefully. I think most people can read and know your name Kilty.

  4. Back in the middle 70's my hair was nearly waist length, and no it was not any straighter than it is now. I am a wash and go man hair gets washed in the shower every morning then its brushed back and then left to do it's own thing for the day, normally dry by about 11 o'clock. My only option is to tie it back when it gets longer but I am not prepared to do that, so I try and keep it about 6 inches past my shoulders and I can live with that, except for windy days then it's a right pain. I have had long hair since about the middle of the sixties. Loads of people have told me I need a good haircut but what do they know, funny thing is my grandkids never mention my hair when all around have short hair.

  5. Yep I agree just let it grow, it does not take that long. trouble I always have is once it's inches past my shoulders it starts to get very messy and it's a job to manage so I have my yearly haircut and that sorts it out for quite some time. My main problem is I have a very thick head of hair and it's also a bit curly which does not help, and I do hate pony tails.

  6. I believe most ice packs have a small air bubble in them that takes up the expansion. Like when on holiday I always put a small bottle of water in the freezer to take to the pool, but never fill it right up or it will break always leave an air pocket, so you can drink a bit as it melts during the day.
