I didn't save up money to buy any heels before because of fear of freaking my folks out. But when my dad asked me if I liked the shoe on the display window one fine day, I gladly took this opportunity to tell him yes.. My mum did not say a thing and I knew that as long as my dad gave the go-ahead, mum will not object to it. Dad even paid for all of my subsequent purchases.

are you a girl or a guy?

no offense, but ur name sounds like a girl, and if so...why would ypou be nervous to buy heels? girls are supposed to wear high heels...not like 4-5inch, but almost every girl i know owns at LEAST one pair of 3+ inch boots/shoes

  3. my boots are really nice quality, very comfortable and roomy...they arent the best like a custom boot would be, but they are everything i imagined my first pair of heels would be...had an experience today which reminded me harshly not to push myself on heels  i was walkin down a flight of steps off my deck today, when i got to the bottom step, without thinking i sorta jumped down, landed wierd and my ankle sorta collapsed, i can hardly walk in normal shoes, let alone heels right now...gotta take it easy when wearing em

  4. im still waiting for my boots to become comfortable to wear for long periods of time..ive been practicing by wearing them for about 2 hours every night and walking out to the garage and backyard for a while...for some reason i can walk on them fine inside, but when i go outside they seem wierd...i wanna get used to em soon =)

  5. thats a great story..congrats on ur first time out  im still gettin the nerve up to wear my boots outside = did your mom know you liked to wear heels before that? or did you just surprise them totally out of the blue?

  7. after just recently coming back to windows from running linux as my desktop for about 6 months, i can vouch that the lack of programs is a real problem...i did try WINE, and it is a horrible attempt at a windows emulator, sure...the programs ran, but about 75% of the options did not work in them...for example..i could run mIRC< but i couldnt load any aliases, remotes or anything else..i could run flashFXP, but i couldnt access the site manager, and as soon as i connected to a site it would instantly disconnect me. linux/BSD are great for a server, but they still leave a lot to be desired when it comes to a desktop

  8. lion, why waste all that money on cisco routers and 3com hubs(GHETTO, packet collisions a plenty, why not splurge for a switch instead?) and make a 100mbit internal network when you have a significant bottleneck at your actual connection to the internet.... i guess i can relate though...i have cisco catalyst 2900 switch for my internal network, and i have a 6mbit cable modem...hehe, and in the summer i spent many hours messing around with the cisco 12000 routers and the foundry BigIron 10gigbit switch that AT&T bought and hasnt used yet (wastefull bastards! we're in a depression and they have 5+million dollars of switching / routing equipment sitting in a room for 6 months!)

Well answered Calv, all I can say this was another classic display of inept literacy skills by Terayon. Think he needs a new english teacher.

    Inga

i dont think thats true at all...we both speak "english", but in two entirely different ways, here in canada (or US for that matter) a get together or meeting would never be called a rally, a rally means a large gathering of people to support a fund...ie an AIDs rally where they raise money for AIDs research...you call soccer football, i call it soccer, and football is an entirely different (and very fun) sport...you call a guy a bloke, i call a guy a guy

    many differences...

also what does "the usual bus rally TV guy" mean?
