you should buy your neice heels....i know what its like to ask for something reasonable and then not get it...im sure all of you do. they dont gotta be stilletos or anything, maybe get her a nice pair of boots with like a 3-4inch heel with like a 1inch platform, i know she would really love them, and her feet are going to grow whether she is wearing heels or not, and its not like you would be spending hundreds of dollars....go for it and make her happy

i dont have the article here to scan in but in the march issue of "Teen People" there was an article entitled "men in skirts" and it was all about boys who wanted to play on the girls sports team and wanted equality in sports, and they wore skirts on the field hockey teams....although not directly related to shoes, it was about reverse equality, men wanting the same rights as women to do and wear what they want to....im going to send an email to teen people right now to tell them about the heels4men movement, maybe they can do an article on it! i dunno if theres Teen People in europ,e but its a huge spinoff magazine aimed at teens that has a reader base of 1,000,000+ readers...ill let ya know if they reply!

i think a good boot must have at least SOME platform, otherwise you can feel everything your stepping on, and the shoe will wear through a LOT faster....i bet it would take years of everyday walking to get through my 1.5inch platform, a 1/2inch would prolly be to the foot in under a year of non constant use

i dont really like any of them...the one with the chunkiest heel is my favorite, but i personally like a bigger platform and chunkier heel....my boots are my idea of a perfect boot may not be everyones favorite, but then again, the whole point of wearing shoes is to express yourself as an individual

i also like a chunky heel mary jane type shoe...been looking for one like that in my size for ages...found one on ebay last night, may buy it

id rather stick to good old fashioned english films thank you very much with the possible exceptions of "Tora Tora Tora" and "life is beautiful", and a few other movies, anything that isnt in english, isnt worth hearing/seeing call me close minded all you want....but its the way i think english is the best language in the world...and i know some german and french, so im not just ranting without experience
