i told my old girlfriend that i loved her boots and that was one of the first things i noticed about her...she said she was really glad i noticed things like that, most other guys didnt seem too! laurie: buffalo is a horrible crappy city, you cannot drive cars down their main city road! its really ghetto place

i think so long as the bride isnt wearing such outrageous heels that she trips and falls in the isle it shouldnt really matter....that would be quite embarassing if you fell

if i was the #1 popular guy in the school and no matter what i said or did everyone would still love and worship me then maybe id have the nerve to be different, but until that day comes i dont really want to stand out and "challenge the rules", i just dont know how well people would react....school is a lot different than work in respect to wearing heels because at work everyone is supposed to be proffesional, if someone swears at you or insults you, you can talk to your suprervisor and they get delt with swiftly and severely...not the same in highschool, if someone swears or is a dick to you, tough shit, you cant very well go narc them out to a teacher, and even if you do, the most a teacher will do is tell them to stop and then leave...so me wearing heels to school and being different is pretty much social suicide for me, im sure there are a few people that would think itd be cool, but i like my friends now and dont wanna be an outcast solely because of something i wear on my feet, i know that sounds dumb, but its the way it is...

do you guys wear your boots/shoes with shorts? or do ya just wear shorts all year round? I wish i could wear pants all year, but in the summer it often gets 30+ degrees out, reaching over 35 last summer some days...so pants are not an option for anything outside....i think steve madden slinky is sandal i may get for the summer

today at school there was one girl that was wearing short skirt with knee high black boots with 3.5inch heel and maybe 3/4inch plat, and another also wearing shirt skirt with black knee high platform boots, maybe 5inch heel with 1inch plat

for the record, i dont ONLY like rap, i also like punk, rock...whatever sounds good...and in my experience stupid girl or boy bands and "pop sensations" are not good.....of course there are exceptions to every rule too..

platforms are the best IMO, but u do have a point about not wanting to wear them outside and they would draw a bit more attention, but damn, if i was a girl, or societies views on fashion changed and all of a sudden i was "allowed" to wear high heels, id be wearing nothin but platform boots just like the buffalo ones!

hey, i was wondering what most of you "full time" heel wearers wear in the summer for heels, its approaching fast here, and i cant wear my knee high boots with them without being noticed a *LOT* which im just not ready for...any suggestions/stories/ideas would be helpfull!

high heels are different things to different people...not EVERYONE finds them sexy, some people flat out dont like them...it all depends

knee high leather platform boot with a wedge heel would be my choice

the thing a lot of you are forgetting is that in most states in the US, and in Canada...a life sentence is not until you die, a life sentence is 20 years in america and 25 years in canada...sure, judges can give multiple life sentences, but often dont...so its not like convicted murderers stay in jail for their entire lives

yesterday at school they passed around an interesting letter, apparently the Discovery channel is going around to various schools in my area interviewing male students for a show they are doing called "boys will be boys" its all about masculinity and what makes boys boys, and why they act like they do....it will be interesting to see if they talk about fashion in it...should be cool

i think it should go entirely on a case by case thing...i mean, if someone was drunk and got into a fight and killed someone by accident, they dont deserve to die, then again...NOTHING would anger me more than if the US captured Bin Laden and kept him alive, some people DO deserve to die for what they have done

he was right wing laurie: army reserves are really cool, since ive always been interested in guns and explsovies, i figure i might as well get paid to learn about them properly and safely, besides....its only 1 weekend a month, 2 weeks a year, and who couldnt use some discipline? and its not just crazy army freaks that join the reserves, my history teacher is a tank commander, my english teacher is a batalion commander and i have like 2 other friends that are gunna join with me...i think itll be lots of fun...think heels are a big "no no" in the army though for guys, they are ultra traditionalists...

actually, as a 16 year old im more likely to get community service / fine...they very rarely give out jailtime around here, unless its a very serious crime

im not very left wing, or even very involved in politics....but its been extremests that have ruined our society and killed millions in the past, look at adolf hitler, mousalini, stalin...all extremests and all responible for the death of millions....im not saying all right wingers are nazis who will cause another holocaust, but ive studied history and i know it was the lack of knowledge that allowed the nazi party to gain power, shit, if hitler hadnt been so dumb he wouldnt have let the same thing happen to his troops in stalingrad that happened to napoleon hundreds of years ago, if the french werent so stupid, they would have extended the maginot line all the way to the ocean throuugh belgium to the ocean and WWII would have never have happened....and if we arent to be dumb, we shouldnt let extremests into positions of power...when hitler got into power he didnt seem like such a madman, he even bragged that he got to power the legal way....but once he was there, all hell broke loose....but im rambling on now, long story short....extremists are bad and shouldnt rule a country so they can take over other countries so i can go fight in some foreign hell hole and die for people i dont know. end
